Jess Impiazzi shared a new photo on Instagram Thursday, proudly displaying her baby bump. She and her partner, Sam Bird, are expecting a baby after several years of trying for a family through IVF, which they’ve called their ‘miracle’ baby.

The 36-year-old actress showed off her baby bump in a black crop top and leggings, posing for a photo while her 39-year-old partner happily pointed at it.

Jess announced she’s 25 weeks pregnant, sharing a photo with the caption: ‘Bump check! 25 weeks!! Time is flying by!’

This announcement follows Jess recently sharing that she’s expecting a baby and, just days ago, revealing it’s a girl – a ‘miracle baby’ she’s overjoyed about.

Last month, the actress announced on Instagram that she’s expecting a baby. She conceived through IVF while also managing lupus, a chronic illness.

She shared a picture of her scan and a babygrow that said ‘Coming soon’. She also posted a photo of herself holding her scan pictures and lingerie, gently cradling her baby bump, with a happy message.

She wrote: ‘It’s been hard keeping this secret, especially as a huge over sharer…

It’s been a tough road, but my husband, @sambird_official, has been with me through everything – every IVF appointment, every injection, and every hospital visit. I love him so much.

The soon-to-be mother revealed to Closer magazine that she and her partner, Sam, are expecting a baby boy, despite her initial belief it would be a girl.

I realized it’s often really tough being a woman, and I wished I had a son who could introduce me to the experience of motherhood.

I plan to raise my son to be a good person, and I hope that if I have a daughter later on, he’ll protect her from anyone who tries to hurt her.

Jess went on to say she would love more children with Sam, if ‘we are able to’.

In her announcement last month, Jess revealed she will welcome her first child in May this year. 

Jess previously dated Jermaine Pennant up until 2023, soon after which she found love with Sam. 

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen firsthand how health challenges can impact all areas of life. Last year, I received a lupus diagnosis, which was definitely a turning point. Honestly, one of my biggest worries was the possibility of early menopause and what that could mean for my ability to have children. It’s something I’ve been navigating and learning about ever since.

Honestly, having a family has always been my biggest dream, so hearing that it might not be possible for me is just devastating. My partner and I had started talking about having kids, but we’ve only been together for under two years, and we always figured we had plenty of time to think about it and try. It’s just… really hard to process.

Jess shared that she received a diagnosis of low ovarian reserve in 2023, but she continued forward with her IVF treatment.

Jess recently shared an update with her followers about her IVF process, thanking everyone who reached out after her egg retrieval.

I know this has been a difficult experience, but I was surprised and grateful to learn how many others have gone through something similar after I shared my own story. Thank you to everyone who reached out – hearing from you and sharing experiences means more than words can say, and it’s comforting to feel like part of a community.

As some of you know, I was diagnosed with low ovarian reserve earlier this year, which means I’ll likely experience menopause earlier than expected.

My Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) level was 0.5, which is very low, particularly for someone my age, 34. It was a really difficult shock – I had always pictured having a family and children, but this result made that future feel much less secure.
