Good news for anime fans who like to watch dubbed versions! The English dub of Liar Game is now available to stream on Crunchyroll, starting with the first episode today. If you enjoyed shows like Trillion Game or Death Note, which are full of strategy and mind-bending challenges, you’ll probably love this exciting and clever series.
Crunchyroll describes the series as follows: Nao Kanzaki unexpectedly receives a letter and a suitcase full of money, and discovers she’s been chosen to compete in a dangerous game called LIAR GAME. It’s a psychological battle where players must lie and deceive each other to win. Because Nao is honest and trusting, she seeks help from Shinichi Akiyama, a former swindler, to navigate the game. The question is: can someone succeed by being truthful in a world built on lies?
Episode 1’s English dub features Reshel Mae as the voice of Nao and Nick Huber as Akiyama. Paul T Taylor voices Fujisawa, Randy Pearlman is Tanimura, and James Larabee plays Nao’s Dad. Other cast members include Katie Otten, Stephen E. Moellering, John Archer II, Michael Jaeger, John Kay Parrott, Dio Garner, Matt Holmes, Joe Cucinotti, Brad Kurtz, Greg Silva, and Monty Thompson.
The English dub of Liar Game is being brought to life by a team including voice director Jeremy Inman, producer Samantha Herek, and writer James Cheek, among others. The anime series is produced by the renowned studio MADHOUSE, with Yuzo Sato serving as chief director and Asami Kawano directing. Kei Tsuchiya designed the characters, while Yugo Kanno composed the music. Tatsuhiko Urahata is responsible for the series’ composition and writing the scripts.
New dubbed episodes of Liar Game are expected to be released weekly on Crunchyroll.
