Pokémon Gen 10 map locations leaked (this game will be huge)

Recent online leaks have revealed details about the next Pokémon game, Generation 10, and the map is proving to be the most interesting discovery so far.

As a huge Pokémon fan, there’s nothing better than waking up and checking Twitter to see if there are any new leaks about the next game. And this morning was amazing! A really reliable leaker posted what looks like the map for the new Gen 10 Pokémon game, and seriously, it’s enormous! It’s got me so hyped!

Here is what we know.

Map leaked on Twitter for Gen 10 Pokémon games

Although the names of towns and other locations haven’t been revealed for the next Pokémon games (likely to be announced on February 27, 2026, for Pokémon Day), we did get a preview of the game’s map and the different environments each island will feature.

You read that right! The next generation of Pokémon games, Generation 10, will feature islands, but the region will be significantly bigger than the Alola region from Sun and Moon.

The next Pokémon game, currently known as Pokémon Winds and Waves (though the name could change), will be set across a large group of islands. Leaks suggest this installment will finally deliver the improved graphics and expansive world that fans have been hoping for.

According to recent leaks, the new Pokémon game (Generation 10) will feature a massive map with 18 islands, a deep sea area, and a full ocean to explore – making it the biggest Pokémon game world ever created. The information comes from Centro Leaks, a source with a proven track record of accurate Pokémon leaks.

Gen 10 Pokémon map to include various islands, filled with gyms, temples and more

Although this map hasn’t been officially confirmed, it’s likely fairly accurate. The game features 18 islands, offering a huge amount of content to discover. It feels like we’re getting a Pokémon game with a similar style to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

If you’re not aware of how large Pokémon games can be, exploring 18 islands is a huge undertaking! For comparison, the Alola region in Pokémon Sun and Moon only featured four islands, making this new game the largest Pokémon adventure to date.
