Pink postpones slate of Midwest concerts, pinning pause on ‘reasons beyond my control’
As a seasoned concert-goer who has weathered more than a few last-minute changes and cancellations, I must say that Pink’s recent postponement of her Midwest tour dates leaves me with a tinge of familiar frustration. However, having witnessed firsthand the physical feats and vocal prowess this powerhouse performer consistently delivers, I can only imagine the “reasons beyond [her] control” that necessitated such a move.
Could you provide a brief explanation as to why Pink had to reschedule multiple concerts in the Midwest region?
The singer known for “So What” and “Raise Your Glass” has temporarily paused her tour, revealing on the weekend that she needs to postpone shows in Lincoln, Nebraska; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Milwaukee and Des Moines, as she’s dealing with issues beyond her control.
As a devoted film enthusiast, I’m genuinely bummed out to announce that there’s been a shift in our schedule for all upcoming screenings. Rest assured, we’re tirelessly working behind the scenes to arrange new dates as swiftly as possible.
pink was scheduled to share her chart-topping songs along with her dazzling aerial tricks in Lincoln on Sunday. Subsequently, she had performances lined up in Sioux Falls on Monday, Milwaukee on Wednesday, and Des Moines on Thursday. She reassured fans that the tickets for the rescheduled shows would remain valid and encouraged them to stay updated for further announcements.
Previously this year, Pink postponed a July performance in Switzerland due to an undisclosed health issue. She mentioned, “I make every effort to be able to entertain you every night, but after discussing with my doctor and examining all possible solutions, I have been advised that I cannot proceed with the show.” (This version attempts to simplify the language while maintaining the original meaning.)
On Monday, a spokesperson for Pink didn’t promptly provide further details when The Times asked for additional information.
In the coming month, Pink will be performing in various states such as Texas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Georgia. For more details about these concerts, please check her website.
Pink concluded her weekend note with expressions of gratitude towards her fans for their patience. “I can’t wait to meet you all again really soon,” she penned down.
“Sending love and health to you all.”
