Pillion is the “brilliant” British movie that you need to stream this weekend

The British drama Pillion, featuring Harry Melling and Alexander Skarsgård, is now available to stream in the UK. The film, which received a lot of praise in 2025, is known for its strong acting and its charming mix of romance and humor.

The film, written and directed by Harry Lighton, is adapted from Adam Mars-Jones’s 2020 novel, Box Hill. It centers on a reserved man (Melling) who becomes involved in a BDSM relationship with a mysterious motorcycle rider (Skarsgård).

The romantic comedy-drama first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May, then had a theatrical release in November. Now, it’s available to stream in the UK on Sky Cinema and NOW.
