Is V23 Finally Here?
Remember when the Pi team announced changes months ago? Yeah, they were supposed to upgrade from v19 to v23. It’s based on Stellar v23, but obviously, they had to make it “special” for Pi. Because why not complicate things? 🤷♂️
One “exciting” feature? They embedded KYC into the protocol. Because nothing screams “blockchain revolution” like more bureaucracy. 🥳
No timeline was given-classic Pi move-but Pi News claimed the Testnet was updated to v22 a week ago. Now, they’re saying it’s on v23. Still waiting for official confirmation, though. Crickets. 🦗
Oh, and they introduced “Fast Track KYC” with AI integration. Because if there’s one thing we all trust, it’s AI handling our identities. 🙃
“This update builds on Pi’s expansion of wallet activation eligibility – where KYC’d individuals can now activate wallets even before completing Mainnet migration – and continues the network’s mission to increase accessibility while maintaining strong security standards,” the announcement said.
PI Price Update
The token was trading near $3 back in February. Now? It’s scraping the bottom at $0.35. Down 88%. Ouch. 🩹
But don’t worry, the Pi community is still bullish. Some “analyst” (aka some guy on the internet) predicted a triple-digit price surge to $1.23. And MOON JEFF, Pi’s biggest cheerleader, says it’ll hit $3. Sure, buddy. Keep dreaming. 🌙✨
