As a huge fan of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, I’m already getting excited about season 3! The season 2 finale left us with a massive cliffhanger, and now everything feels even more intense. Not just in the story, but also for the show itself – season 3 really needs to deliver and prove that Percy Jackson has staying power on Disney+.
I’m so excited for the next season! It’s going to cover The Titan’s Curse, which is the third book in the Percy Jackson series, and it should be here later this year. From what I’ve heard, season 3 is a really big deal for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and it could be what really makes the Disney+ show a huge success. I think this adaptation is going to be amazing!
The New Season Of Percy Jackson Is The First Adaptation Of The Third Book

Season 3 is special because it’s the first time The Titan’s Curse has been made into a movie or show. The previous Percy Jackson films only covered the first two books, and the Broadway musical only focused on The Lightning Thief. Because of this, fans have been eagerly waiting to see this story adapted. Now, the creators really need to deliver!
As a huge fan of the Percy Jackson books, I was really excited about The Titan’s Curse. The story follows Percy on this intense rescue mission for Artemis, and it really ramps up the drama, especially with the tension brewing between the campers. What I loved about this book was the introduction of new characters like Zoë Nightshade and the di Angelo siblings, Bianca and Nico. They completely change things for Percy, and honestly, it’s crucial that any adaptation gets these characters right – especially Nico, because his story is so important.
This season explores the characters’ feelings more deeply and strengthens existing connections. A key moment will be the first interaction between Percy and Thalia, and their relationship promises to be complicated, particularly given the weight of the prophecy that hangs over them.
The story will feature more sweet moments between Percy and Annabeth, but these will be overshadowed by the increasing danger from Kronos and Luke’s powerful army. The added complication of spies hiding within the camp creates even more tension and makes the series more complex than just a straightforward adventure.
Percy Jackson Season 3 Will Get Much Darker
Everett
The first two seasons of Percy Jackson and the Olympians did really well, focusing on fun, humor, and a feeling of excitement. Though there was some danger, the show generally kept a light and optimistic mood. But season 3 will be different – it’s going to be much more serious and dramatic.
The Titan’s Curse is a noticeably more serious installment, dealing with difficult topics like sacrifice and loss. It features less lightheartedness and playful moments, and this requires the series to grow up with its viewers while still remaining true to itself. For this change in tone to work, the increased danger and consequences need to feel justified and meaningful.
As the story gets more intense, the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians faces the challenge of handling darker themes without any previous adaptations to guide it. If the season does well, it could significantly improve the show and pave the way for adapting the rest of the books. However, a misstep now could lose viewers at a crucial point in the narrative.
