A first look at season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians has been revealed! The short trailer debuted at San Diego Comic-Con and gives fans a sneak peek at what’s coming this November.
Disney+’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians has been very popular, becoming their most-watched series of 2024. Fans waited almost two years for the second season, but the good news is the next installment will be available less than a year after that.
With the premiere of Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 just four months away on November 20th, Disney+ has released a short teaser trailer. The trailer offers fans a first glimpse of the new season, which continues to bring Rick Riordan’s popular book series to life, co-created with Jonathan E. Steinberg.

The brief 30-second teaser reveals Percy burdened by the Titan’s Curse. He acknowledges the dangers he faced, questioning if he truly had a choice when considering sacrificing himself to protect the world and those he cares about. The trailer concludes with Percy’s anguished cry.
At Comic-Con, a sneak peek from the first episode of Percy Jackson season 3 was shown. The clip featured Thalia fighting a troll in a parking garage as she searches for Luke. She’s struggling with the fight, but Percy arrives and successfully defeats the troll.
Annabeth appears and explains she needs assistance rescuing Bianca and Nico Di Angelo, the half-blood children of Hades. Percy realizes Thalia is searching for Luke and doesn’t want her involved in this new problem. Frustrated, Thalia angrily drives away in a stolen car, leaving Percy and Annabeth to deal with things on their own.
The Percy Jackson panel at Comic-Con shared some exciting news, including that the role of Hercules has been cast and will be revealed shortly.
Walker Scobell, the actor who plays Percy Jackson, says the third season will be the most faithful to the books yet. He also revealed that the season’s eighth episode will focus on the winter solstice and include appearances from all the gods.

Disney has confirmed a third season of Percy Jackson, surprisingly renewing it months before Season 2 even came out! The Season 2 finale hinted at the show’s return in 2026, with production starting in August 2025 and wrapping up just recently this spring.
Walker Scobell plays the lead role of Percy with Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, Daniel Diemer, Glynn Turman, Nick Boraine, Jason Mantzoukas, and Tamera Smart also starring in the film.
