Paradigm Bets Big on Prediction Markets With Pro Trader Terminal Aimed at Market Makers

Paradigm Targets Pro Traders and Market Makers in Latest Prediction Markets Push

According to Fortune, venture capital firm Paradigm is building a trading platform for prediction markets, designed for professional traders and those who make markets.

Arjun Balaji, a partner at Paradigm, is leading this initiative, which has reportedly been in development since late 2025.

This venture capital firm has heavily invested in Kalshi, a popular platform for prediction markets. They provided funding to Kalshi in three separate rounds throughout 2025.

The company that lets people bet on future events recently secured over $1 billion in funding, increasing its worth to $22 billion.

According to a report, Matt Huang, co-founder and managing partner of the venture firm, serves on the startup’s board. A source also stated that Paradigm’s work on a prediction markets trading terminal doesn’t directly compete with the platform offered by Kalshi.

In addition to its main trading operations, Paradigm is reportedly exploring new ventures. Sources indicate the firm is considering setting up a team to actively trade and provide liquidity, and is also researching the possibility of developing indexes based on prediction markets.

Meanwhile, Paradigm has started to collect prediction market data into a public dashboard.

A Sector Gaining Institutional and Retail Momentum

Paradigm is expanding its infrastructure just as the prediction market is experiencing significant growth. Trading volume reached a new peak of over 207 million in March, as reported by Dune analytics.

As a crypto investor, I’m really seeing the prediction market space take off. The amount of money being traded each month has jumped massively – we’re talking around $25.7 billion now, compared to just $1.2 billion back in early 2025. And it’s not just small players – big exchanges like Binance are getting involved too. They’re even testing a built-in prediction market right within their Wallet app, which is a huge sign of growing interest and potential.

In January, Coinbase started offering prediction markets by working with Kalshi. Separately, Crypto.com introduced its own platform named OG.
