‘Face/Off 2’ Director Exits in Next Major Blow to Nicolas Cage Sequel

According to Collider, director Adam Wingard is no longer working on Face/Off 2, leaving the project without a director. The reason for his exit is currently unknown. However, Paramount Pictures hasn’t canceled the film and is still interested in making it. They’ve opened up the directing search, allowing filmmakers to submit their ideas for the sequel – a project that’s been in development for 29 years since the original movie.
