As a dedicated fan of gripping dramas that tug at my heartstrings and leave me yearning for more, I can confidently say that the anticipation for Pachinko season 2 has been absolutely palpable. Having followed Min Jin Lee’s masterpiece since its publication and eagerly awaiting the adaptation, I’ve been on this rollercoaster of emotions for quite a while now.
It has been over two years since “Pachinko” debuted on Apple TV+ on March 25, 2022. Now, finally, we have news that “Pachinko” will return for its second season this summer on Apple TV+, and fans are eagerly anticipating the next eight episodes of this popular show.
Luckily, the wait is almost over for Pachinko fans!
The television show “Pachinko” is inspired by Min Jin Lee’s book of the same title. This series, produced by Soo Hugh, narrates the tale of a Korean family across generations. The narrative unfolds in Korea during the early 1900s and continues through multiple decades, detailing their journey from Korea to Japan.
As a longtime fan of Korean dramas, I can confidently say that the cast of this series is nothing short of phenomenal. Having watched numerous shows and followed the careers of many actors, I have to admit that the talent assembled in this production is truly exceptional. With names like Soji Arai, Jin Ha, Jun-woo Han, Sungkyu Kim, Min-ha Kim, and Lee Min-ho gracing the lineup, it’s clear that viewers are in for a treat. Each actor brings their unique skills and charisma to the screen, making every scene a delight to watch. I can hardly wait to see how this talented group brings their characters to life and tells an engaging story.
I firmly believe that “Pachinko” ranks among the top TV shows currently airing. Frankly, I think it’s underappreciated, and a significant reason for this could be its broadcast on Apple TV+, which appears to be one of the less frequented streaming platforms.
