FBI will see a cast exit during Season 7 (who is leaving the CBS series?)
As a seasoned gamer of the FBI series, I must admit that the news about Katherine Renee Kane leaving during Season 7 has left me somewhat conflicted. On one hand, I am excited to welcome Lisette Olivera to the team as a Behavior Analyst Unit agent. But on the other, I can’t help but feel a sense of loss with Tiffany Wallace’s departure.
Regrettably, not every character will return for FBI Season 7. Unfortunately, we’ll say goodbye to one cast member during the season while another is introduced as a series regular.
Following the announcement that Lisette Olivera will be part of the series, it’s been officially confirmed that Katherine Renee Kane will be departing. For fans eager to catch a glimpse of her before her TV tenure concludes, there is some positive news on the horizon.
Katherine Renee Kane will leave FBI during Season 7
In the thrilling world of “Quantico,” I joined the cast during season three, stepping into the shoes left by Ebonée Noel’s character, Kristen Chazal. Since then, I’ve embodied Tiffany Wallace, a role that has allowed me to portray a unique female agent and offer a fresh perspective on how these characters navigate challenging situations in the field.
During Season 6, Tiffany grappled with sorrow and remorse following the demise of Agent Hobbs, a partner she worked alongside undercover. To honor Hobbs’ memory, Tiffany vowed to bring justice for his family, a promise that was fulfilled in the final episode of Season 6. In her quest for justice, Tiffany tracked down the terrorist, Hakim Siran, and ended his life. A verification was conducted to ascertain whether Hakim had a firearm at the time of the encounter, enabling Tiffany to justify her actions as self-defense.
It’s confirmed that Kane will appear in at least one episode during Season 7 of FBI. This inclusion is significant because it gives the writers an opportunity to create a farewell storyline for her character, rather than simply alluding to where she went after leaving, as is often the case with Dick Wolf productions. Unlike Chicago PD, which didn’t explain Officer Rojas’ exit at all.
It might be that Tiffany leaves the show following the shooting incident in the Season 6 finale. Olivera, who joins the series as a Behavioral Analysis Unit agent, may first appear to evaluate if Tiffany should carry on with her responsibilities after the event.
FBI Season 7 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 8/7c on CBS.
