Overwatch Season 1 gameplay trailer

Check out the official gameplay trailer for Overwatch Season 1, launching in 2026! This season, titled ‘Conquest,’ introduces five new heroes. Domina will play as a tank, while Anran and Emre are damage-dealing characters. Rounding out the new additions, Mizuki and the charming Jetpack Cat will provide support to the team.

Five new Overwatch heroes

Jetpack Cat in Overwatch

The trailer highlights what each hero can do. Take Jetpack Cat, for instance – her main attack fires healing and damaging projectiles in a spread. She also has a fun ability called Lifeline, letting her tow a teammate along with her!

Frenetic Flight helps with quick movement, while Purr creates a healing zone that can also push enemies away. JetPack Cat’s ultimate ability is called Catnapper – she dives to a target location, knocks down nearby enemies, and then attaches herself to the closest one.

Mizuki in Overwatch

Mizuki’s main attack is Spirit Glaive, which damages enemies. He can also help teammates by throwing his hat with Healing Kasa to restore their health. His Katashiro Return ability lets him dash forward, leaving a paper doll behind. He can then teleport back to the doll, gaining a speed boost.

Binding Chain is a skill that fires a chain to slow down the first enemy it hits. Mizuki’s ultimate ability, Kekkai Sanctuary, both heals teammates and blocks incoming attacks.

Domina in Overwatch

Domina, the latest tank hero, attacks with a powerful beam called Photon Magnum, which deals significant damage at medium range. She also has a unique Barrier Array – players need to destroy each section of the barrier separately. Finally, her Crystal Charge ability lets her launch and explode a damaging crystal.

Her Sonic Repulsors knock enemies away and briefly stun them if they collide with a wall. Her ultimate ability, Panopticon, creates a barrier that traps enemies and then explodes after a set time.

Emre in Overwatch

Emre is a hero in Overwatch who specializes in dealing damage. He uses a Synthetic Burst Rifle as his main weapon. He can zoom in for better accuracy with his secondary fire, called Take Aim. His other abilities include Siphon Blaster, a pistol that restores his health, and Cyberfang, a thrown grenade.

His most powerful ability, Override Protocol, turns him into a powerful weapon. When activated, it unleashes either devastating explosions or highly charged energy blasts.

Anran in Overwatch

Players who weren’t able to try Anran during the hero trial can now see how she plays. Her main attack uses Zhuque Fans to launch fiery projectiles. She also has a secondary attack, Fan the Flames, which increases the damage from burning. For movement, Anran uses Inferno Rush to dash forward and harm enemies. Finally, her Dancing Blaze ability lets her strike nearby opponents while simultaneously avoiding all damage.

I’m a huge Anran fan, and her ultimate ability is seriously awesome! It’s got two different forms. There’s Vermillion Ascent, where she dashes forward and creates a huge explosion that immediately sets enemies on fire. But then there’s Vermillion Revival, which is even cooler – she literally rises up from the ashes and explodes! Both are amazing, but Revival is just spectacular to watch.
