Overwatch Season 1 is getting a cute update with a new collection featuring Hello Kitty and Friends! You can now play as characters like Kuromi Widowmaker, Keroppi Lucio, Cinnamoroll Kiriko, and Purin Mercy, among others.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced a charming collaboration between Overwatch and Hello Kitty! We’ve got all the details on this cute crossover, including a first look at the new Hello Kitty-themed skins coming to Overwatch.
Overwatch x Hello Kitty collaboration
Overwatch 2 is teaming up with Sanrio to release a Hello Kitty-themed collection in the game. The collaboration includes cute items inspired by popular characters like Kuromi, Keroppi, Cinnamaroll, My Melody, Purin, and, of course, Hello Kitty herself!
Interestingly, a survey back in July 2025 already hinted at the Hello Kitty collaboration.

Overwatch x Hello Kitty release date
The Overwatch x Hello Kitty collection launches on February 10th with the beginning of Season 1. Players will have until February 23rd to earn the new skins.
I’m so excited! Blizzard just announced they’re releasing Hello Kitty-themed cosmetics for all my favorite heroes! Seriously, can you imagine how cute – and chaotic – things are going to be on the battlefield? It sounds like there might be more than just skins coming too, which is awesome – I can’t wait to collect everything!
