As a seasoned Overwatch gamer with over 10 years of gaming under my belt, I must say that Blizzard never ceases to amaze me! The latest teaser for the Zombie Baptiste skin has sent waves of excitement through the gaming community. Having played since the early days of Overwatch, I can’t help but feel nostalgic about the Zombie Walk emote that was launched a couple of years ago. If this new skin makes an appearance in Season 12, it would be a perfect match for my beloved Baptiste!
This new Baptiste skin would go nicely with the Zombie Walk emote.
As a passionate Overwatch 2 gamer, I’m excited to share some tantalizing news! In the recent short, Blizzard has given us a sneak peek of a potential new skin for everyone’s favorite healer, Baptiste. It seems like we might be getting a Zombie Baptiste skin soon! And that’s not all, there are more exciting skins on the horizon for the upcoming season. Can’t wait to see them in action!

Overwatch 2 Zombie Baptiste skin
In a showcase featuring the Throne of Anubis Clash map on Overwatch 2, Blizzard hinted at a fresh costume for support character Baptiste. This new outfit made an appearance at the 24-second mark, with a voiceover from Juno reassuring viewers not to worry.
The scene also showcased Baptiste’s Zombie Walk emote, which launched a couple of years ago. If the Zombie Baptiste skin makes an appearance in Overwatch 2 Season 12, then this emote will complement it nicely.

More Overwatch 2 Season 12 skins
Speaking about the skins for Overwatch 2’s Season 12 that have been confirmed, they encompass shop items for Mercy, Echo, Genji, D.Va, Pharah, Kiriko, and Soldier: 76. These skins are showcased in the trailer for Season 12: New Frontiers.
Battle Pass skins galore
For the characters whose Battle Pass skins have been confirmed, we have Oni Ana, Bast Doomfist, Dorothy Ashe, Thoth Illari, and Captain Sigma. If you purchase the Ultimate Battle Pass during Overwatch 2 Season 12, you’ll also acquire the Heist D.Va and Aset Echo skins.

Currently, the standout skin for the season is the Anubis Reaper. Overwatch 2’s Lead Concept Artist, Morten Skaalvik, has shed light on the reasoning behind this selection, as he discussed it with Reaper himself.
According to Skaalvik, there was a team meeting held on who should receive the legendary skin. Everyone present immediately agreed that it should be given to Reaper. The meeting was expected to last 30 minutes but ended up being only five. There are several aspects to consider when choosing a hero for a mythic skin, but in this case, since Reaper represents the Egyptian God of Death, everyone felt it was an obvious choice.
