But honestly, it also meant we were getting way too close for comfort, and I felt like we were actually in more danger than before. It was a really intense shift in the story.
The birth scene in A Quiet Place is incredibly tense, and the sequel, A Quiet Place Part II, keeps the pressure on by constantly reminding us the baby is still vulnerable. This is especially impactful because of Beau’s death in the first film, making it feel like any child is at risk throughout the story.
Okay, so A Quiet Place Part 2 isn’t exactly a chill movie night pick – it’s super tense! But honestly, it’s thrilling from beginning to end. With A Quiet Place Part 3 coming out in 2027, it’s a great time that it’s just hit Netflix. It gives anyone who hasn’t seen it – or wants to revisit – plenty of time to catch up before the story wraps up. I’m definitely planning a re-watch!
