Olivia Attwood says she ‘hates’ Valentine’s Day and ‘wants to be left alone’ after her split from husband Bradley Dack

Following her separation from husband Bradley Dack, Olivia Attwood has stated she dislikes Valentine’s Day and prefers to spend it alone.

On the podcast ‘The Sunday Roast,’ hosted with Pete Wicks, she shared stories about her worst Valentine’s Days and what she had planned for the weekend.

Olivia, who recently announced her separation from husband Bradley Dack in a heartfelt message, shared her idea of a perfect day.

She started by saying she’s never been a fan of Valentine’s Day, and it wasn’t just because of what recently happened. She always tells people to just give her a gift instead of making a fuss.

Pete added: ‘All the posts on social media just make you hate it even more.’

Olivia exclaimed: ‘Oh! I forgot about social media, here come all the unhappy people you know.’

The celebrity explained that all she wants for Valentine’s Day is flowers, a gift, and some peace and quiet. That’s her ideal celebration.

It comes after Olivia shared a motivational post about moving on following her marriage breakdown.

Olivia, known for first appearing on Love Island, has since become a successful TV presenter, but recently revealed she’s been struggling emotionally and has been crying at night.

In what appeared to be an attempt at moving on, Olivia shared an inspirational quote with her fans.

She shared a message that said: ‘It’s better to take a chance, even if it’s expensive, than to stay stuck where you are.’

Reports suggest the couple’s marriage ended because the footballer betrayed her trust and acted inappropriately.

Olivia spoke about the difficulty of navigating her divorce, explaining she’s hesitant to share anything on Instagram. She admitted being open and vulnerable, particularly online, feels risky and exposing – like making herself a target.

For a long time now, I’ve been going through a cycle of crying myself to sleep, only to wake up at 5am and pretend everything is fine. It’s a pattern that’s been repeating for a while.

Honestly, I’m a bit thrown by how quickly everything’s shifted lately – you know me, I’m a Taurus, I really prefer stability! I definitely didn’t foresee ending up moving into this apartment on my own, and I’ll be real, I’m feeling a little overwhelmed right now. It’s a lot to handle!

I’m hoping for happiness, for myself and for Brad, taking things one day at a time. And if anyone else out there needs to hear it, that’s for you too.

‘Normal programming and chatting will resume asap. Ps thank you, I feel your love immensely.’

Since their separation, Olivia hasn’t been seen wearing her wedding ring in public, but Brad continues to wear his.

Olivia and Bradley first connected in 2015 at a nightclub. At the time, Olivia was working as a grid girl, and Bradley was a rising star in football, having recently been recognized as Gillingham FC’s Young Player of the Season.

Although the couple briefly separated after three months, they got back together in 2017. Since then, Olivia’s career has flourished, but Bradley’s has seen less progress.

Olivia is now worth around £6 million, while Bradley’s net worth is approximately £5 million. Some sources suggest this financial difference may have played a role in their breakup.

Early in their relationship, he was the primary breadwinner due to his career as a footballer, but now she is financially independent.

‘She doesn’t need him at all anymore, she can be totally independent.’

When he was at his best, Bradley reportedly made £18,000 per week while playing for Blackburn. However, after moving back to Gillingham FC last year, his weekly salary is now around £3,500, according to Salary Sport.

Okay, so I’ve been doing some serious research on Olivia, and apparently she’s been raking it in with ITV! I mean, each series – like ‘Getting Filthy Rich’, ‘The Price Of Perfection’, and even ‘Bad Boyfriends’ – reportedly earned her around £350,000! Can you believe it? She deserves all the success, honestly. I’m so proud!

In addition to her other ventures, she’s partnered with Abbott Lyon jewellery for a £250,000 deal and has a six-figure contract with Maybelline cosmetics.

Olivia recently emphasized the value of financial independence. Last September, she stated, “It’s crucial to maintain your own finances and have your own bank account.”

Honestly, I just don’t get why anyone would ever merge finances with their partner! It feels so…old-fashioned, like something from a different era. I truly believe keeping things separate is the way to go – it just makes so much sense to me!
