Okay, so I just saw that Noodlecake is letting us sign up for early access to their new game, Winter Burrow! It’s a cozy survival sim set in the woods, and it looks super chill. Pine Creek Games is developing it, and the App Store says we can expect it to drop on September 30, 2026. I’m already excited to build my little burrow!

In Winter Burrow, you play as a little mouse returning home from the city, only to find that your old burrow is falling apart. To make matters worse, your aunt – who was supposed to be looking after things – has vanished! Now you’ll have to survive while also uncovering the mystery of her disappearance.

You’ll rebuild your home by exploring the snowy landscape, collecting materials, and making tools to survive the winter. As you do, you can create cozy sweaters, bake delicious pies, get to know the animals in the woods, and watch out for pesky bugs!
What I really love about this game is being able to decorate my house, personalize my character, and create a story that feels unique to me. Winter Burrow has a lovely art style and focuses on a relaxed survival experience. Instead of feeling pressured to hurry, you can take your time exploring and using your creativity while solving the mystery of your aunt’s disappearance.
