Nikki Glaser admits she ‘likes’ when her boyfriend sleeps with other women… as she reveals ‘sexual fetishes’

Nikki Glaser has openly discussed her relationship and says she’s comfortable with her boyfriend seeing other people.

Glaser has had an intermittent relationship with Chris Convy, a producer she met on her first MTV show in 2013, for more than ten years.

Oh my gosh, you guys, their relationship is just… different! It’s always been so refreshingly honest, and she’s always talked about how wonderfully weird and special their connection is. It’s not your typical romance, and honestly, that’s what I love about them!

In a 2022 interview with Graham Bensinger, she revealed a surprising preference: she was okay with her partner, Convy, having sexual encounters with other women, as long as those encounters remained purely physical and lacked emotional connection.

Okay, so I was glued to the Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday, and honestly, it was amazing to hear Alex Glaser talk about relationships again! Basically, she confirmed everything I already knew – she still feels the same way about non-monogamy, and it’s just so refreshing to hear her be so open and honest about it. It’s like, she gets it, you know? I’m obsessed with her perspective!

‘In a relationship, I don’t really care if my boyfriend were to hook up,’ she shared.

That expectation isn’t mutual, though. I personally don’t enjoy casual encounters while I’m committed to someone, and it’s not something I’m interested in. However, I’m okay with others exploring that if they want to – I actually don’t mind it at all.

For Glaser, hearing about Convy’s previous experiences only fueled her attraction. 

She admitted that hearing about his past relationships was sexually exciting for her. She’d ask for details about his ex-girlfriends and any casual encounters, finding the conversation arousing and a turn-on.

Glaser is attracted to this situation for a straightforward reason: she wants to feel wanted. As she put it, ‘I want a guy that other women are also interested in.’

Glaser also emphasized setting boundaries. She remembered telling Convy to avoid kissing anyone unless he was sure about their relationship – it was important to understand where things stood with any potential partner.

Just don’t let her feel guilty. I always made sure she understood you’re in a relationship and that she’s making her own decision. And please, tell her I’m perfectly fine with everything.

That said, she does draw the line when it comes to emotional connections. 

Glaser said she wouldn’t be bothered if her husband had a one-night sexual encounter with another woman, as long as he used protection.

I’m not sure why, but if he started doing things with her that we usually do – like watching The Wire, doing crossword puzzles, or even just sending memes – I’d be really upset. It would feel like a betrayal, almost like cheating, and it would really hurt my feelings.

Glaser summed up their arrangement by saying, ‘It’s just what I’m into.’

Okay, so she said it again in that interview with Bensinger, and honestly, it’s just… perfect. She basically admitted it! She was like, ‘Look, everyone has something they’re into, and I’m totally cool with mine.’ It’s so freeing, and it just makes me love her even more. It’s just… yes.

I’ve been talking with my client, Glaser, and it’s become clear she’s perfectly supportive of her friend Convy exploring relationships with other women. However, Glaser herself isn’t interested in pursuing that kind of connection – she’s comfortable with her own preferences and boundaries, and that’s what matters.

‘It’s not [my] thing,’ she said at the time, though she admitted it ‘might be my thing someday.’

In a 2025 interview on Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP podcast, Glaser explained that although she doesn’t practice non-monogamy herself, she supports Convy if he wants to explore it.

‘I wouldn’t mind if [my] boyfriend were to fool around with other people,’ she said. 

Okay, so I found out a little something about my absolute idol, Convy. Apparently, she’s been with other women before, which, honestly, doesn’t bother me at all! She’s just said, though, that she needs those women to understand it’s just… physical. Like, it’s not a big deal, and she’s cool with it as long as everyone’s on the same page. Honestly, knowing she’s so open about it just makes me adore her even more!

Oh my god, she totally gets it! She was saying how girls sometimes fall for this fantasy – like, ‘He’s going to realize I’m the one and leave her for me!’ – and she was like, no, honey, that’s just not realistic. It’s so important to understand what’s really going on, you know?

She later told Paltrow that the idea of Convy being with other women definitely gives her a sexual thrill.

‘It’s a fetish. I’ve looked into it, it’s called Hot Husband.’ 

Glaser explained that she doesn’t want to participate in her partner’s activities with others, but she actually enjoys hearing about them – and finds it exciting as part of their intimate connection.

I’ve always been turned on by hearing about my partner’s past relationships. It’s a big part of what gets me excited – the anticipation and back-and-forth of learning about their experiences with other women is really appealing to me.

Glaser shared with Paltrow that she’s reluctant to discuss open relationships, as she fears others will assume she’s falsely presenting a positive attitude about her boyfriend seeing other people.

She confessed she hated feeling so vulnerable, worried it made her seem weak. However, she added that she wouldn’t tolerate anything that hurt her.

She explained that she’s comfortable with herself and believes she’s a good partner. She doesn’t need anything from this person except that he shower afterwards and then share the details with her.

She concluded, ‘I just don’t have jealousy over him getting close to other women.’
