Nike is bringing back the popular Kobe 10 Low in its original black colorway. Originally released in 2015, this version – updated with Nike’s Protro technology – will be available again in Spring 2027, thanks to a continued partnership between Nike and the Kobe Bryant estate.

First released during the 2014-15 NBA season, the “Blackout” design pays tribute to Kobe Bryant’s intense training habits and incredible mental toughness. The shoe features a dark purple mesh upper with black synthetic leather on the tongue, laces, and heel. Metallic details accent the Nike Swoosh logos, and bright green coloring appears on the logo on the tongue and the bottom of the shoe.

The new ‘Protro’ version keeps the same look as the original but has been updated with better internal components. It will include improved cushioning and a bouncy Zoom Air system, giving modern players a better connection to the court and more protection from impact.

The Nike Kobe 10 Protro “Blackout” is scheduled to release in Spring 2027.
