When you start playing the open-world RPG Neverness to Everness, you’ll receive the main character, Zero, for free. You can then unlock other characters through the game’s banner system, allowing you to build a strong team. This tier list will help you determine which characters are the most powerful and effective in Neverness to Everness.

Neverness to Everness Character Tier List: Best Characters Ranked

This list ranks each character based on their strengths and weaknesses. We’ll be using the following factors to determine their ranking:

DPS capabilities: We will rank them in our tier list based on their overall damage output. How they deal damage from Basic attack, reactions, follow-up attacks, or Burst. Reaction-based DPS, Basic attack-based DPS, and follow-up attack-based DPS have slightly higher priority because they can deal damage continuously.
Support capabilities: We will rank them in our tier list based on their provided buffs, debuffs, damage, shielding, and healing.
Team Comps: We will rank them based on their team options. A character has multiple team comps but deals decent damage, has higher priority than less team comps, but more serious damage output.

At this moment, NTE has a total of 15 characters: 8 S-rank characters and 7 A-rank characters.

Best Characters in Neverness to Everness (NTE)

Nanally (Follow-up attack DPS)

Nanally is a top-tier character who works well with Plasma-based builds in NTE. She focuses on dealing damage with a series of quick attacks. When she uses her Ultimate ability, she calls in a powerful Underboss. While the Underboss is active, all of Nanally’s attacks will trigger the Underboss to attack as well. Using her skill transforms her into a state called “Ichi-daime”.

If an enemy has been hit with an Esper-Cycle attack, Nanally’s subsequent attacks will automatically trigger additional follow-up attacks.

Daffodil (Burst DPS)

Daffodil is a top-tier character in NTE, known for her powerful Burst attacks. She excels at quickly breaking enemy shields – faster than most other characters. When an enemy’s shield is broken, it stuns them briefly, making them more vulnerable to damage.

Fadia (Support)

Fadia is a powerful character with an S-rank in Psyche, and she works well with Hybrid Arcs in NTE. Her skill marks the enemy with the most health in the area with ‘Destructive Experience’ for a limited time. While this effect is active, some of the damage Fadia takes is instead inflicted on the enemy. Her Ultimate ability boosts both the damage output and healing for the entire team.

Adler (Support)

Okay, so as a huge fan, let me tell you about Adler! He’s a top-tier Incantation character – seriously powerful. What’s really cool is he works great with Hybrid Arc setups in NTE. When he uses his skill, he doesn’t just deal damage, he also puts a damage-over-time effect on enemies and gives our whole team a shield called ‘Blessing’! Basically, he’s constantly dealing damage. And his Ultimate? It makes that damage-over-time effect even stronger! If you’re fighting just one enemy, the damage ramps up even more – it’s incredible!

Jiuyuan (DPS)

Jiuyuan is a top-tier Anima character in NTE, working well with Plasma-based builds. She’s special because she can both attack enemies and heal her entire team, giving her a strong edge in battles. Currently, however, we lack the other characters needed to fully maximize her abilities.

Final Thoughts

Currently, NTE has ten damage-dealing characters but only five supports, and those supports aren’t fully able to maximize the damage output. Right now, Nanally is the strongest character to add to your team because of her high damage potential.
