Netflix’s adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia is getting a major change.
On the podcast The Gary & Kenny Show, producer Mark Gordon announced that the new Netflix film will have a different title. He also mentioned it’s likely to receive the same age rating as previous movies in the series.
The film is based on C.S. Lewis’s Narnia books, specifically starting with ‘The Magician’s Nephew’ – which is the first story chronologically, though not the first Lewis wrote. We hope to make several movies! Filming wrapped up in February, and we’ve created a family-friendly film that everyone, especially kids, will enjoy. It’s expected to be rated PG, and the cast is fantastic – they’re sure to impress audiences.
