Netflix is removing Lesley Manville and Jessie Buckley’s “must-watch” period drama very soon

The popular movie Misbehaviour, starring Lesley Manville and Jessie Buckley, will no longer be available on Netflix after March 24th. Released in 2020, the film tells the true story of a group of women from the Women’s Liberation Movement who famously protested the 1970 Miss World competition in London.

Philippa Lowthorpe’s film, Misbehaviour, features a fantastic cast including Keira Knightley and Oscar winner Jessie Buckley, who play feminist activists Sally Alexander and Jo Robinson.

The cast also includes Lesley Manville as Dolores Hope, the wife of Bob Hope (played by Greg Kinnear), and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as beauty pageant contestant Jennifer Hosten.

The series also features performances by Keeley Hawes, Phyllis Logan, Rhys Ifans, Suki Waterhouse, Ruby Bentall, Emma Corrin, Luke Thompson, Emma D’Arcy, John Heffernan, Alexa Davies, and Lily Newmark.

After it came out, Misbehaviour was highly praised and earned an 87% ‘Fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes, meaning critics and audiences generally loved it.
