The psychological thriller Mother!, featuring Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem, will soon be removed from a UK streaming service. While praised for its intense mood and unique mix of genres, the film received mixed reactions when it first came out.
In Darren Aronofsky’s latest film, Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem play a couple living a peaceful life in the country. Their tranquility is shattered when a strange pair, portrayed by Michelle Pfeiffer and Ed Harris, suddenly appear.
The movie, starring Domhnall Gleeson and Kristen Wiig, is now on Netflix, but it will be taken down on May 9th, so catch it while you can! It’s also available to stream on Prime Video with no end date in sight.

When Mother! came out in theaters in 2017, most critics liked it. As of today, 68% of reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are positive, based on 377 reviews.
Critics agree that Mother! is a daring and ambitious film, but it might be too challenging for most viewers.
