NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama has shared an exciting update on the upcoming season 22.
In an Instagram video, the actor portraying Special Agent Nick Torres gave a tour of the large trailer-filled parking lot on set, announcing that filming had started.
Hey everyone, I’m thrilled to be here again! I believe you’re all aware that we’re back in action on the set of NCIS. That’s right, season 22 has officially begun. We’ve already filmed a few scenes, but I wanted to share the news with you – your favorite character Nick is back in the game!
In a conversation with crowd not long ago, he hinted that this upcoming season would be extraordinary. “What’s the plan for creating some excitement this time around? That’s my goal.”
As a devoted fan, I can tell you from experience that this season might not just mean disappointment for your favorite team. Instead, it could bring about deep, emotional pain. There may be events unfolding that strike at the very core of your fandom, leaving you feeling shattered.

Valderrama hinted at the possibility of romantic developments, jokingly suggesting that Torres could find herself in a new relationship during the upcoming season. He stated, “Perhaps there will be some fresh romances. Maybe Torres is open to love this time around.” Leaving it uncertain, he added, “It could just be a topic of discussion or not.”
Additionally, he mentioned that new cast member Gary Cole, who came on board during the 19th series, will have some significant responsibilities this season. It’s exciting to look forward to watching him tackle these roles.
NCIS airs on CBS in the US. All 21 seasons so far are streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
