UFC 306 Noche Sphere fight card, start time, channel guide & ticket information
As a dedicated UFC fan with years of experience following and attending live events, I am thrilled about the upcoming UFC 306 Noche Sphere card. The anticipation is high for this unique event, which has left some confusion over its official name. Regardless, we can all agree that the main event between reigning bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley and challenger Merab Dvalishvili promises to be a heated affair.
The UFC Sphere card, also known as UFC 306, Noche UFC, or the Rhuyad Season card, has left some confusion among fans due to its unique nature, with various names being used interchangeably. Although it’s unclear what to officially call this event, we can share what we do know and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
Title fight between Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili, long-awaited showdown of bantamweight champions: This highly anticipated clash between current champion Sean O’Malley and challenger Merab Dvalishvili traces back to their earlier encounters. The rivalry ignited when O’Malley claimed the title by defeating Dvalishvili’s friend Aljamain Sterling.
In the undercard’s main event, there will be a three-bout series between UFC flyweight titleholder Alexa Grasso and previous champion Valentina Shevchenko. They recently coached a season of “The Ultimate Fighter” together and aim to resolve their unclear outcome from their last rematch, which was ruled a debatable draw.
According to UFC president Dana White, the entire event will feature only 10 fights. This makes me assume there will be additional content shown between bouts to make up for the time usually filled by extra fights. The official fight order beyond the main and co-main events has not been announced yet, but you can find the complete card listed below.
- Sean O’Malley vs. Merab Dvalishvili
- Alexa Grasso vs. Valentina Shevchenko
- Brian Ortega vs. Diego Lopes
- Esteban Ribovics vs. Daniel Zellhuber
- Ode Osbourne vs. Ronaldo Rodríguez
- Ignacio Bahamondes vs. Manuel Torres
- Irene Aldana vs. Norma Dumont
- Kevin Borjas vs. Edgar Chairez
- Yazmin Jáuregui vs. Ketlen Souza
- Raul Rosas Jr. vs. Aori Qileng
We don’t have information on when the event will begin yet, but it’s likely to start between 6 and 7 p.m. Eastern Time, which is typical for pay-per-view shows. No specific channels have been announced for the undercard as of now, but the main event will be broadcasted via ESPN as a pay-per-view.
You really don’t want to miss out on @RiyadhSeason #NocheUFC, we promise it will be worth your while! 🤩
