As a big fan of Annihilation, I was thrilled to hear that Jeff VanderMeer and Natalie Portman are teaming up again! Apparently, she’s signed on to develop another one of his stories into a film or series. I’m really excited to see what they come up with next – Annihilation was so unique and atmospheric, and I’m hoping for something just as compelling.
On Bluesky, Jeff VanderMeer announced that his new short story, “Constellations,” has been picked up by Portman’s MountainA production company for adaptation as a film.
