My Adventures with Superman Season 3 Will Abandon 1 Mainstay From the First Two Seasons

A key part of the first two seasons of My Adventures with Superman will be less focused on in Season 3. As DC Studios continues the Superman story with live-action films, My Adventures will still add to the hero’s narrative with Jack Quaid continuing to voice the character in animation. But this will mean some significant changes to the show.

Season 3 of My Adventures with Superman will include Kiana Madeira as Kara Zor-El, joining Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen as a central member of the hero team. Artwork by character designer Alaine Baybayan shows Kara walking with the group – Jimmy Olsen is behind her taking pictures, followed by Lois Lane and Clark Kent.

This suggests that My Adventures with Superman will shift away from the traditional Clark, Lois, and Jimmy team-up that’s been a staple of Superman stories. By including Kara as a permanent member, the show will create a new dynamic with a group of four in Season 3.

Jake Wyatt, the showrunner for the series, recently gave an update on Season 3’s progress. He mentioned in August 2025 that the season was in post-production, but didn’t say when it would be available to watch.

My Adventures with Superman is a new animated series with a distinct anime style, following the early adventures of Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen. Featuring the voices of Jack Quaid, Alice Lee, Ishmel Sahid, Darrell Brown, and Max Mittelman, the show portrays Clark balancing his life as a budding superhero and a journalist, all while facing off against iconic villains like Lex Luthor, Slade Wilson, and Amanda Waller. The third season is anticipated to premiere on HBO Max around 2026.

How Kara Will Impact My Adventues with Superman Trio

After spending Season 2 overcoming mind control by the villain Brainiac, Supergirl starts Season 3 on a path to discover who she truly is. Brainiac had deeply influenced her, even training her in the ways of Krypton’s warrior traditions. Now, she’s ready to find her purpose with the help of her cousin, Clark, and other allies.

Once Kara was freed from the mind control, she immediately understood her mistake and joined Clark in protecting the planet. She also became friends with Lois and Jimmy, allowing her to overcome her difficult past and finally become the hero she always wanted to be.

Details about Season 3’s storyline are still scarce, but we know Clark and Kara will encounter some interesting new faces, including Connor Kent, also known as Superboy.

It’s unclear what will happen to Kara next, but facing new threats will likely make her an even stronger hero, and hopefully give her opportunities to take center stage.
