Mugshot released for rapper Lil Tjay after he was arrested for disorderly conduct after he denied ‘baseless rumors’ of involvement in Offset shooting

Lil Tjay was arrested in Florida on Monday night after a public disturbance involving a fight. This happened on the same night that Offset was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Despite surviving a shooting himself in 2022 where he was hit seven times, the 24-year-old rapper, known as Can’t Change, wasn’t involved in the shooting of the 34-year-old member of Migos.

Lil Tjay’s lawyer, Dawn M. Florio, released a statement on Tuesday to address false rumors claiming the rapper was involved in a shooting.

Reports that Lil Tjay was shot or involved in a shooting are untrue. He was not injured and has not been charged with any shooting offenses.

The Seminole Police Department told the Daily Mail that two people are in custody and the investigation is still underway. They confirmed the area is safe and there’s no danger to the public, and that everything is continuing as usual.

As many of you know, Offset – Kiari Kendrell Cephus to his friends and family – is thankfully on the mend after a recent incident. He’s currently recovering from some injuries at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, but thankfully, they aren’t life-threatening. According to his representative, the Grammy-nominated artist was shot and is now being treated at a hospital, as reported by the Daily Mail on Tuesday.

According to witnesses, the rapper was near the entrance, talking on the phone and watching the valet area, when fans came up to him.

This shooting happened almost four years after the death of Takeoff, a member of his group Migos. Takeoff was 28 years old when he was fatally shot multiple times in Houston, outside of a bowling alley and billiards hall.

Patrick Xavier Clark could spend 25 years to life in prison after a Texas grand jury indicted him for murder in 2023. He’s accused of firing a gun into a group of about 30 people who were at a party playing dice.

The 23-year-old man, who works as a promoter and DJ at a strip club and is currently out on $1 million bail, will go to trial in November. He maintains he didn’t shoot anyone, but prosecutors say they have video evidence linking him to the crime. The trial has been postponed several times.

Takeoff, the Grammy-nominated rapper (born Kirsnick Khari Ball), was an innocent bystander who wasn’t participating in a dice game or a basketball argument when shots were fired. Ten bullets were discharged from two guns.
