Monster Hunter Wilds has arrived, attracting millions of players worldwide. On Steam alone, more than 1.3 million users have this game installed. Yet, some players encounter several problems. For instance, a significant number of gamers experience crashes upon launch and during shader compilation, preventing them from playing altogether. Even if they successfully start the game, issues persist. Many report that textures, particularly rocks, are intermittently flickering. So, what can be done to resolve these problems?

How to fix flickering rocks in MH Wilds

If you notice items on your screen seeming to blink or flash, this could indicate that your device drivers might not be current. To confirm if a newer version is available, visit the manufacturer’s website and check if they offer an update for your drivers – even if the update is considered optional.

If the solution provided earlier doesn’t work, it’s important to check the compatibility of your Steam application with your current operating system, especially if it’s Windows 8.
