As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Capcom is unleashing an exciting new update for Monster Hunter Wilds tomorrow (or today, depending on your location)! The team has generously provided us with the patch notes, offering a sneak peek into the enticing endgame content we can anticipate in this update.
In late July, Capcom announced an update to the endgame content of its monster-hunting RPG, moving it forward to mid-August. This adjustment appears to be a response to player feedback expressing concerns about insufficient content in the game. As per the patch notes, these changes align with what players can anticipate as well.
The size of the update for Monster Hunter Wilds can range anywhere between 2GB to 6GB, depending on the version you are using. This update is scheduled to be released tomorrow at 2:30am UTC. That’s approximately 7:30pm Pacific Time or around 10:30 Eastern Time tonight.

Upon reaching Hunter Rank 100, you’ll start encountering upgraded versions of nine different creatures from Monster Hunter Wilds. These enhanced versions will be represented as nine-star quests. Additionally, regular and tempered variants of Rey Dau and Nu Udra will become available in the Wounded Hollow if you reach this rank.
1) Monsters of level 100 or above now appear less frequently, while the frequency of standard monsters has been slightly increased. Additionally, a fresh Glowing Stone item for appraisal has been introduced, offering a chance to receive a talisman with randomly assigned abilities upon appraisal.
The newest addition to the Monster Hunter series is called Monster Hunter Wilds, which has been an extraordinary hit for Capcom since its release in February. In fact, it managed to sell an impressive 10 million copies within approximately a month, setting new sales records for its creator as well.
More recently, sales have started to decline, and Steam’s user reviews have largely shifted to “Overwhelmingly Negative.” Players have expressed concerns about insufficient performance improvements and what appears to be oversimplification of the gameplay. It seems that negative feedback is more prevalent in these reviews, but they are predominantly focused on the former issue.
