  • Added new backgrounds, poses, nameplates, and titles to hunter profiles.

  • Introduced two new characters, Mina armed with Sword and Shield, and Fabius with Lance, who can participate in missions once you finish the primary mission titled “A Hunter’s Pride”. Notably, Fabius will only appear during a special, time-limited seasonal event.

  • At the Quest Counter, we’ve included a new option for players to pick their preferred Support Hunters who will accompany them when activating an SOS flare.

Bases and Facilities

  • Added item boxes outside of the hunter’s tent in each base camp and the Grand Hub.

  • Added an outdoor item box as a camp gear option that can be set at Pop-up Camps.

  • The Change Lobby Menu can now be accessed at your tent in base camps or Pop-up Camps.

  • As a gamer, I’ve just unlocked the ability to swap my in-game character! Now, I can pick between Alma and Erik. I completed the Lagiacrus mission to get this cool new feature.

  • Now, there’s a new feature in the Provisions Stockpile where you can swap items for seasonal event goods!

  • A new Festival of Accord event will be held from July 23 to August 6, 2025.

  • The additional task titled “Clear Skies, Possibly Sandstorm” is now accessible. (You can undertake this mission once you’ve finished the primary mission known as “A World Spun Around.”)

  • An expansion has been incorporated into the Scarlet Forest, accessible during the side quest titled Trembling Blue Currents.

  • In the Windward Plains Base Camp, you’ll find a fresh conversation for Ferdinand. Engage with him, fulfill the requirements, and you’ll receive a brand-new pendant as a reward.

  • Check out the Environment Overview in the Grand Hub for notifications on upcoming events such as the Festival of Accord.

Steam

  • A message will show up when you try to run the app if your graphics driver version is old, your operating system isn’t compatible, or if you’re running it in compatibility mode.

  • New customizable keyboard configuration controls have been added.

  • The latest technologies, DLSS4 and FSR4, are now available to enhance your graphics quality. To use DLSS4, you’ll need an NVIDIA RTX 5000 series or a more advanced GPU, while FSR4 requires an AMD Radeon 9000 series or superior GPU for its operation.

  • In simplified terms, NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super-Sampling (DLSS) technology is now capable of creating multiple frames at once in the frame generation graphics settings. If you own an NVIDIA RTX 5000 series GPU or higher, you can adjust the frame multiplication to anywhere between 2 and 4 times, or opt for “NVIDIA DLSS Auto” which intelligently turns the frame generation function on or off based on the workload.

  • In the graphics settings, the options for upscaling and frame generation have been split apart, allowing you to adjust the frame generation setting independently of the upscaling option. For instance, using NVIDIA RTX 3000 hardware, you might opt for NVIDIA DLSS upscaling in combination with AMD FSR frame generation, or other comparable mixed configurations.

  • You can now copy the Lobby ID/Hunter ID via the Start Menu.

Miscellaneous (contd)

  • You can now copy the Squad ID via the Squad Menu.

  • A fresh graphics option has been incorporated, enabling users to turn off the visual distortions typically observed in underwater or lava zones.

  • The ammo pouch is now automatically restocked when activating an item loadout.

  • Added a “Take All” feature to Nata’s Material Retrieval facility.

  • Added the ability to check the Squad Leader’s hunter profile from the Squad Card.

  • Equipment Appearance can now be viewed via Equipment Info or Palico Info in the Start Menu.

  • The Conversation Log can now be accessed via the Start Menu.

  • Enhanced features have been included for “Effects” and “Character Display” within the photo mode. Now, you can choose gestures and poses even when viewing from a first-person perspective.

  • In the Hunter Profile Quest Completion Count section, we’ve introduced a new category called “All Non-Arena Quests”. This category excludes total weapon usage from its count and is now located at the top of the list. The original “All Quests” category has been relocated to the bottom. Additionally, we’ve provided an option to reset weapon usage counts for specific quest categories.

  • You have the option to erase the ‘Best Times’ information you’ve logged for arena quests on your hunter profile and the quest board now. However, please note that any times you’ve submitted to the Expedition Record Board’s rankings cannot be removed.

  • Here are the new features:
    – A “Health Alert Indicator”.
    – A “Permanent Timer” for select quests, found under “Display Elapsed Time”.
    – The ability to “Enable Skill/Item Effects”.
    – Information on the “Currently Equipped Talisman’s Impact”.

  • Fixed an issue where stumps would sometimes appear floating in the sky in the Grand Hub.

  • During adverse weather conditions in Kunafa and Azuz, you can now make Material Retrieval item requests, and the process of collecting items will persist even through inclement weather.

    • The adjustments made to player actions during gameplay aim for a more immediate response, noticeably when traveling on the Secret mount.

    • Corrected a problem that prevented the impact of the skill ‘Slicked Blade’ from vanishing while transitioning between the combat training zone and any other location.

    • Fixes a problem where players might end up with more than one type of Large Barrel Bomb in their inventory, if they pick up a pre-placed Large Barrel Bomb while already having a Blossom Barrel Bomb on hand.

    • I’ll rephrase that for you: Resolved a problem where, when the dash function was set to one press, the character would transition from a crouch into a ‘run’ rather than a ‘dash’ if they stood up after dashing from a crouched position.

    • Fixed an issue where the webbed state would not be properly removed by Purewasp Delivery.

    • Other minor fixes and related adjustments have been made for all weapon actions.

  • Sword & Shield

    • Shield Attack, Shield Bash, and Hard Bash raw damage and stun values have been slightly increased.

    • Perfect Rush’s finishing portion has had its raw damage slightly increased.

    • Counter Slash raw damage has been decreased.

    • Adjusted a problem that caused Focus Strikes to accidentally hit the same injuries multiple times on specific monsters.

  • Dual Blades

    • In Demon Mode, you have the ability to alter your course during a movement immediately following a dodge.

    • In Demon Boost state (which is during Demon Mode), linking an evasion with a Blade Dance results in a chained Blade Dance II. But, if the Demon Gauge isn’t sufficient, it will default to a Blade Dance I instead.

    • Blade Dance II responsiveness has been improved.

    • Movement speed during Demon Mode has been increased.

    • The power behind fundamental attacks such as Sixfold Demon Slash, Demon Flurry Rush, and Demon Flurry has been boosted by increasing their base damage.

    • Screw Slicer raw damage, elemental scaling, and ailment scaling have been greatly increased.

    • Focus Strike: Turning Tide raw damage has been increased.

    • Heavenly Blade Dance raw damage has been increased.

    • In this revised version, the scaling for Blade Dance’s elemental effects and ailments has been slightly reduced, while the base damage of each attack has been boosted.

    • In simpler terms, the extra power given by Demon Boost Mode has been slightly reduced, but the bonus for elemental abilities has been enhanced.

    • Adjusted a problem that caused the Power Prolonger ability to extend the duration of Demon Boost Mode enhancements beyond what was originally planned.

    • Fixed an issue where the camera would shake unintentionally during Demon Mode.

  • Long Sword

    • Elemental scaling for Crimson Slash II has been significantly increased.

    • Raw damage and elemental/ailment scaling for Crimson Slash III has been increased.

    • The hit boxes for certain attacks, such as Big Bang, have been adjusted.

    • Fixed an issue where the damage display would appear twice for Big Bang IV.

  • Hunting Horn

    • As a devoted enthusiast, I’m excited to share that when I execute Focus Strike: Reverb, it now adds an extra note to the end of each attack, enhancing the rhythm and richness of the sound!

    • Executing Focus Strike: Reverb now creates an Echo Pocket precisely during the attack’s conclusion. You can halt the formation of this Echo Pocket by pressing and holding R2 (PS5), RT (Xbox), or R key (default, PC) at the end of the action.

    • Hitting a monster with a single hit of Resounding Melody now triggers a soundwave.

    • Your Seikret no longer stops when performing while mounted.

    • The damage hitbox for Echo Bubble has been significantly increased.

    • The evade window for Offset Melody have been increased.

    • Rectified a problem that caused the wrong encore melodies to show up when switching between hunting horns, instead of those that were actually played as an Encore.

    • Resolved a problem that occurred when attempting to connect with Offset Melody, causing attack offsets to fail at times.

    • In the situation where stocked notes failed to revert to their initial state during a linked Special Performance, I resolved that problem.

  • Lance

    • You can now chain into a Charge Counter from Focus Strike: Victory Thrust.

    • Adjusted the hitbox of Focus Strike: Victory Thrust to make it easier to land.

    • Corrected a problem that occasionally caused specific shield strikes during Focus Strike: Resolve to inadvertently heal monsters instead of deepening their wounds.

  • Gunlance

    • Adjusted a problem that sometimes led to an unexpectedly high probability of additional hits being critical hits when a critical strike occurred during a sequence of specific actions like Multi Wyrmstake Full Blast. Instead of “critical hit,” you could also use “Critical Strike” or “Crit.

  • Switch Axe

    • As a fan, I’m thrilled to share that I now have more control over my distance from monsters when I’m using Unbridled Slash and Full Release Slash during Focus Mode. It makes battles so much more exciting!

    • Adjusting the left stick towards your player character can now slightly lessen the reverse action caused by the Element Discharge Finisher.

    • Using Element Phials substantially boosts the size of subsequent explosions caused by sword attacks, enhancing their elemental power.

    • Enhancing the intensity of subsequent explosions from Unbridled Slash, Full Release Slash, and Axe: Follow-up Morph Slash significantly when utilizing Element Phials.

      Or simply:
Using Element Phials makes the follow-up explosions from Unbridled Slash, Full Release Slash, and Axe: Follow-up Morph Slash more powerful.

    • Axe: Follow-up Heavy Slam and Axe: Follow-up Morph Slash raw damage has been increased.

    • The amount of Switch Gauge recovered when performing basic attacks in Axe Mode has been increased.

    • Enhanced both the basic attack damage and Amp Gauge replenishment for the skill “Axe: Morph Rising Double Slash”, while simultaneously decreasing its Switch Gauge depletion.

    • Sword: Triple Slash raw damage and amp gauge recovery amount have been increased.

    • The amount of Switch Gauge consumed when performing Sword: Overhead Slash has been decreased.

    • Fix: Corrected a problem that prevented the scaling of damage from Rapid Morph from being applied to Jumping Morph Slash upon landing.

  • Charge Blade

    • Now, the guards feature Perfect Guard recognition, allowing you to seamlessly transition into a Savage Axe Slash following a successful Perfect Guard from a defensive position.

    • The raw damage inflicted by an explosive vial when combined with the Super Amplified Elemental Discharge from specific assaults (like Amplified Elemental Discharge) has been boosted.

    • Raw damage for Amped Element Discharge and Super Amped Element Discharge has been increased.

    • Weak Slash, Return Stroke, and Shield Thrust raw damage have been slightly increased.

    • As an avid gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the raw damage for my favorite move, Element Discharge with the Axe, has received a boost! Plus, the power-ups Amped Element Discharge and Super Amped Element Discharge have also seen an increase. So, let’s get ready to unleash some serious elemental fury!

    • Impact Phial explosion raw damage has been increased while in Sword Boost Mode.

    • Improvement: The sequence of Element Discharge now links faster with other fundamental axe techniques such as Axe: Rapidly Dashing Downward Strike and Axe: Sideways Fading Cut.

    • The raw damage for multi-hit attacks while in Power Axe Mode has been decreased.

    • Corrected a problem that prevented the enhancement of explosion damage from the phial when using Element Discharge I or similar moves with an Impact Phial, under circumstances where phials were already upgraded.

    • I’ve resolved the problem that caused the sharpness to drop excessively when executing a guard point, especially with Elemental Boost engaged.

I’ve made it so that the sharpness doesn’t degrade too quickly during a guard point, particularly when using Elemental Boost.

    • As a dedicated player, I recently tackled a problem where the damage amplification from the swift-transformation skill, Rapid Morph, wasn’t accurately applying to specific leap attacks during axe combat. I’m pleased to say that it’s now fixed!

  • Heavy Bowgun

    • Increased the amount of rapid fire gauge recovered when firing Spread Ammo 1 and Spread Ammo 2.

    • Fixed an issue where it was difficult to evade after firing Slicing Ammo.

    • Adjusted a problem that caused the Burst skill to trigger early when deploying Cluster Bombs or activating Wyvernblast Ignition, using less hits than planned.

  • Bowguns

    • Fixed an issue where the skill Airborne would not activate correctly for spread ammo.

  • Bow

    • Resolved a problem that caused bow coatings to automatically change to “Unequipped” under specific circumstances.

  • Support Hunters

    • I resolved a problem that made the Support Hunters on Seikret exit their protective cover prematurely when facing Jin Dahaad’s wide-range attack, resulting in them sustaining unnecessary damage.

    • Increased the attack power of Support Hunters for when the quest leader is at HR 100 or higher.

    • Adjusted the behavior of Support Hunters when mounting a monster.

    • Added a follow-up move for when Olivia successfully performs an offset attack.

  • Seikret

    • Improved the speed of response when calling your Seikret.

    • Improved the response speed for controlling your Seikret after mounting from a Seikret call.

    • Resolved a problem that occurred when using autopilot on your Seikret; it would often loop around an area if it reached the spot where a large monster was before arriving.

    • Adjustments have been made to improve the responsiveness of item usage when they are attached to a Secret (or any similar platform), specifically in these scenarios:

      1. Upon changing weapons while being mounted.
      2. After the map has been closed and an item is used.
      3. Instantly following the use of one item, another item can be utilized immediately.

    • It is now possible to dismount from the Seikret while drifting.

  • Palico

    •  Fixed an issue where Palicoes would stop using Vigorwasp Delivery under certain conditions.

Miscellaneous

  • System

    •  Increased the amount of Guild Points awarded for delivering a Wyvern Egg.

    • The Skill Info window can now be quickly opened in various screens.

    • Changed the Investigations sub-menu option “Delete Investigation” button.

    • Changed the Arena Quests and Challenge Quests sub-menu option “Available Equipment Details” button.

    • Food Skills can now be viewed in the Skill Info window via Equipment Info in the Start Menu.

    • You can now see the specific impacts of Food Skills clearly displayed on the Active Skills tab within the Skill Information window.

    • Now, you have the option to start and complete a quest immediately by clicking ‘Accept & Leave’ right from the Quest Invitation message in your priority chat notifications.

    • Here’s a more conversational rephrasing of your sentence: We took away the “skip” option for crucial chat alerts and allowed users to open the map simultaneously, without having to first dismiss the notifications.

    • As an enthusiast, I’ve tweaked the game settings to ensure that the map doesn’t auto-switch levels whenever I focus on a big beastie anymore. Now, I get to tackle those monstrous opponents on my own terms!

    • Lobby Info can now be viewed in the upper-right corner of the Start Menu and Quest Counter screens.

    • The Monster Field Guide can now be viewed in the Quest Menu while in your tent.

    • Rectified a problem that allowed decorations, which were not meant to be placed in specific slots, to be added there instead.

    • Fixed an issue where obtained nameplates would sometimes not appear in the Hunter Profile settings.

    • Steam: Optimized Virtual RAM (VRAM) usage by implementing texture streaming, leading to a decrease in total VRAM consumption.

    • I’ve resolved an issue where the Estimated VRAM Usage in the Display/Graphics settings was showing a value lower than the real amount. This means that the displayed VRAM usage might seem higher, but thanks to a separate optimization, the actual VRAM usage has been decreased, so the current minimum and recommended system requirements remain the same.

    • Resolved a problem that caused inaccurate VRAM usage display when adjusting the Distance Shadow Quality setting within Graphics options.

    • Resolved a problem occurring when the ‘Display Armor’ option was selected under ‘Display Options’ within the ‘Change Appearance’ menu, where the hunter’s chest armor failed to appear as intended.

    • Altered a problem: Carrying out specific activities like eating or crafting weapons/armor within the Main Hub was causing the Mantle’s cooldown to refresh. This issue has now been resolved.

    • Resolved a problem that caused quick teleportation multiple times within the Training Area to revert specific states like mantle cool-down timers.

    • Improved the response time for using items after exiting a tent.

    • Fixed an issue where blocked users were not properly removed from the Followers list.

    • Fixed an issue where incorrect icons would appear for offline members in the Member List.

    • I made a change in the Equipment Appearance menu to ensure that the focused item remains the layered armor. Now, when you select it, it won’t shift to another piece of equipment.

  • Quests

    • Accepting and joining quests will be possible from the quest counter during an Environment Link.

    • Made adjustments to reduce interruptions when joining a quest via an invite notification.

    • Adjusted the unlock conditions for the “Social Butterfly” Hunter Highlight.

    • Resolved an problem that triggered an emergency signal (SOS Flare) whenever a solo quest was initiated, provided the ‘Automatic SOS Flare’ setting was enabled.

    • As a gamer, I recently resolved a tricky hitch: Sometimes, my character’s exit animation would get stuck mid-way when a certain quest concluded right in the middle of it, making me unable to regain control. Now, that’s all fixed!

    • Resolved a problem that prevented the benefits of the Lucky Voucher from being utilized for the active quest when receiving a quest invitation from a Linked User while already engaged in another quest.

    • In your personal space during a regular survey without going into the field, it was possible to initiate a multi-monster chase (similar to a Great Hunt) even when one of those monsters had not been encountered in that specific area before.

    • As a fan, I recently addressed a fascinating problem that allowed players to substantially diminish a monster’s vitality using poison or comparable afflictions prior to initiating a Field Survey.

    • Resolved a problem that occurred when finishing a Free Challenge Quest without being online, leading the game to save improperly and display inaccurate lower rankings on the Quest Counter.

    • Resolved a problem that prevented certain monsters from showing up in multiple-target investigations on occasion.

    • Corrected a problem that caused the participant count in the arena rankings to display incorrectly when several players joined an Arena Quest at the same time.

    • New preventative measures have been put in place for invalid or fraudulent investigations.

    • As a dedicated player, I understand that unjustifiably quick quest completions might raise eyebrows. These suspicious times won’t count towards the rankings, and as a precautionary measure, the system may temporarily restrict or suspend accounts under investigation.

  • Other

    • Fixed an issue where some voice lines would not trigger properly.

    • Fixed various text issues.

    • Fixed other miscellaneous issues.
