Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4 Releases Next Week, Adds Legendary Elder Dragon Gogmazios, Gogma Artian Weapons, and More

Next week’s update for Monster Hunter Wilds will introduce a terrifying new monster: Gogmazios. Releasing on December 16th, this legendary elder dragon is described by Capcom as being covered in a thick, black liquid and sporting a massive weapon on its back. Players will be able to put their hunting skills to the test against it with Title Update 4.

This powerful enemy is designed for groups of up to eight players – four hunters and four support hunters. You’ll unlock the quest to fight him later in the game, once you’ve reached Hunter Rank 100 and finished the main quest called “A First Cry.”

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4

Next week’s update for Monster Hunter Wilds, Title Update 4, will add new Gogma Artian weapons to the game.

Now you can improve your Artian weapons—those at rarity 8—even more by using materials dropped by Gogmazios. Upgrading them not only keeps their current enhancements, but also adds a powerful bonus skill and a random group skill, making these weapons incredibly effective in battle.

A significant challenge is Arch-tempered Jin Dahaad, available to players who have reached Hunter Rank 100.

Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Update 4 introduces Armor Transcendence, a new feature unlocked after reaching a certain rank. This feature lets you improve your armor even further by increasing the limits on armor upgrades and boosting the power of decoration slots on high-rarity armor, making it especially useful for difficult battles.

I’m really excited to hear they’re adding new optional quests! Apparently, we’ll be facing off against some seriously tough enemies – they’re talking about monsters with nine stars! And the best part? We get cool, special nameplates as rewards for taking them down. Sounds like a challenge I’m definitely up for!

Monster Hunter Wilds’ next update adds three new support hunters to the game. Nadia and Nightmist are experts with light bowguns, and Griffin specializes in using the great sword.

The Festival of Accord: Lumenhymn begins on December 19th, bringing festive changes to the Grand Hub. Players can look forward to daily login rewards, including a special meal, new equipment, gestures, and decorations for their camps.

Capcom has announced that Title Update 4 will be the last major update for Monster Hunter Wilds, but they’ll continue to release smaller patches to fix issues with the Steam version. They also plan one final update in February that will add a new, extremely challenging monster variant.

We don’t know yet if this is the final installment in the series, or if an expansion – which many fans are anticipating, though it hasn’t been officially announced – will be released soon.

I’m really excited for Monster Hunter Wilds! Even though we haven’t gotten a full announcement yet, it sounds like we’ll be spending the holidays hunting new monsters like Gogmazios and trying to get awesome new gear – which is exactly what I want!
