The release date and initial details for Monster Hunter Wilds‘ Title Update 2 have been disclosed ahead of schedule, unintentionally so by PlayStation through their official website. As it turns out, the update is slated for June 30, a fact that was expected to be officially announced during Capcom’s presentation on June 26, where Monster Hunter Wilds was previously confirmed to be highlighted.
Based on the recent information leak, the upcoming update is set to introduce two new creatures: Lagiacrus and an arch-tempered monster, specifically known as Arch-Tempered Uth Duna.
In the vibrant Scarlet Forest, the dominant beast has been activated and stands guard over its domain. Engage in this Special Event Mission and secure yourself a distinct gamma version armor set as your prize, courtesy of PlayStation’s latest monster.

The recently leaked information about the new PlayStation game hinted at the return of the layered weapons system from Monster Hunter. This means that players can alter the visual aspects of their weapons without affecting their performance or the decorative items attached to them.
According to the PlayStation Leak, you can personalize your hunting experience even more by earning reward items from exciting event quests. These rewards include the Doshaguma Mask, a complimentary gesture set, and additional cosmetic content for purchase as downloadable extras.

Sure thing, given that it’s leaked information and hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, you should approach it cautiously. However, since it originates directly from the PlayStation website, there’s a high degree of credibility attached to it, making it hard to question its authenticity.

Additionally, while leaks can sometimes expedite official announcements, considering it’s linked to the aforementioned presentation, we don’t foresee this being the case here, particularly given how close the presentation is.
