The upcoming free content addition for Monster Hunter Wilds introduces two fresh beasts, the Lagiacrus and Seregios, as well as underwater battles and customizable equipment known as layered weapons.
During the Capcom Spotlight event, it was revealed that Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 will launch on June 30th, bringing a plethora of new content to the game. Among the major additions are two familiar monsters from past games: Lagiacrus, a sea wyvern who typically inhabits water environments, and Seregios, a mid-sized wyvern with golden scales. The update will showcase both monsters in combat, including underwater sequences for Lagiacrus, while Seregios will be seen battling on land. Players can encounter these two new foes starting from June 30th.

Over the summer, Capcom has revealed their plan for new content coming to Monster Hunter Worlds. On June 30th, fresh cosmetic DLC will be available, featuring new layered armor and emotes. The following month, on July 23rd, a summer-themed event called Festival of Accord: Flamefete will begin, lasting until August 6th. This event includes new cosmetics and quests. In late July, the Arch Temper Uth Duna, a new tempered monster, will be released. On August 27th, Capcom is set to release a new emote in partnership with Fender guitars. Lastly, they announced that Title Update 3, which includes another monster, will be available towards the end of September.
The upgrade incorporates several minor enhancements aimed at enhancing user experience, such as stackable weapon layers and advanced photo mode settings with new lighting options. Regrettably, Capcom failed to address the persistent performance problems in Monster Hunter Rise for PC users, including unstable frame rates and instances where the game fails to launch following an update for certain players.
