Monster Hunter Wilds: How To Get Antimite
In Monster Hunter Wilds, an Antimite refers to a specific type of monster. To acquire an Antimite for personal use in the latest MH game, you’ll need to hunt and defeat it during gameplay. Keep in mind that strategies may vary depending on the difficulty level and your character’s skills.
In Monster Hunter Wilds, Antimite is a scarcely found item, making it hard to come by. The game labels it as a Rare or Uncommon Item, implying that players who discover Antimite may not immediately know its purpose. Since it falls under the “Special” category in your inventory, it’s essentially set aside for items that don’t quite fit into other categories.
To date, it has been established that players can derive some benefit from this mineral by exchanging it for other items. However, currently, this mineral does not feature in any crafting or upgrade blueprints.
Where To Find Antimite in Monster Hunter Wilds
To obtain this Mineral, all Hunters should head to the Oilwell Basin as that’s where you’ll find it. Unlike other items, this one isn’t dropped by monsters, so there’s no need for intense battles to collect it. However, please note that Antimite is not found in the usual way. Instead, keep an eye out for Hopper Crystal Ore. You’ll discover numerous collection spots for this ore spread throughout the basin.

Seek out compact rock formations that appear dark and exhibit a hardened crystal-like structure. Fortunately, you don’t need to be a skilled miner to obtain this Mineral. Simply approach the ore deposit, press or hold the indicated button as prompted, and you’ll be able to gather your Antimonite. It is important to note that each Hopper Crystal Ore harvesting point will yield only one Antimonite.
Over the Oilwell Basin, numerous Hopper Crystal Ore deposits are scattered. Given that it takes approximately 15-17 minutes for each deposit to regenerate and refill, you can rotate between them to guarantee your mineral gathering proceeds smoothly as planned.

In some games, specific equipment can enhance your efficiency in collecting items. For instance, creating a Geologist Charm during gameplay improves your item-gathering experience on a map. This charm has three levels:
1. Geologist Charm level 1: No additional benefits
2. Geologist Charm level 2: Gives you an extra item when gathering Special Items
3. Geologist Charm level 3: Provides greater benefits, but I don’t have details on this level for the example given.
When you gather a few Antimite with a Geologist Charm level 2, it may not seem significant, but in the grand scheme of things, it will make a noticeable difference.
