Monster Hunter Wilds offers a detailed character customization feature where players can tailor their Hunter, Palico, and Seikret using various options. This enables them to transform these companions into well-known figures. The latest free update, Update 1, has broadened the customizable choices for one of the beloved characters, Alma.

Currently, players have the ability to modify Alma’s look, although it functions a bit differently compared to the personalization options for Hunters and companions within Monster Hunter Wilds. Let’s delve deeper to uncover all there is to know about customizing Alma’s appearance and switching her wardrobe in this game.

How To Change Alma’s Outfit in Monster Hunter Wilds

After gaining entry to the Tent on the Windward Plains in Chapter 1, feel free to personalize Alma’s look, which is reminiscent of customizing your character’s appearance. Here’s how you can alter Alma’s wardrobe:

1. Navigate to the designated area.
2. Look for an option or interface related to customization.
3. Select Alma from the available characters.
4. Choose the ‘Outfit’ or ‘Appearance’ tab.
5. Browse through the options and pick a new look for Alma.

  • Navigate the menu at the tent to locate the Appearance Menu section.
  • Choose the Change Appearance option.
  • You will notice the new option, Change Alma’s Outfit. 
  • Clicking the new option opens up the customization menu for Alma, where you can change between her available Outfits and Glasses. 

Note: However, you cannot change the color or pattern of the outfits or glasses for Alma. 

Alma has three available outfits so far:

  • Handler’s Outfit – Default outfit
  • Scrivener’s Coat – Free DLC (Available via your platform’s digital store)
  • New World Commission – Paid DLC (Costs $5.99)

How To Unlock Alma’s Glass Customization in Monster Hunter Wilds

Apart from being able to tailor Alma’s wardrobe, you can also personalize her eyewear selection. This feature lets you change between two pairs of glasses currently available—Strategist’s Spectacles and Square Glasses. However, this customization option for glasses becomes accessible once you finish the side quest called Apple of Her Eye.

To successfully accomplish this mission, you must locate and get hold of Alma’s unique crystal glass hidden within a Wudwud dwelling. Identify and approach a Wudwud called Ayejack, then offer him some Eastern Honey as a trade to acquire the glass. Once obtained, return the glasses to Alma, thus completing the mission. This action will also activate the Glass Transformation feature for Alma.

1. Find and get Alma’s special crystal glass hidden in a Wudwud home.
2. Locate a Wudwud named Ayejack and give him Eastern Honey to trade for the glass.
3. Bring the glasses back to Alma to finish the mission, which will also enable her to change the glasses.
