As I’m scrolling through SteamDB, I can’t help but notice that this game is sitting pretty at the top of the bestsellers list. It’s intriguing because it’s got over 9000 reviews, yet it sports a ‘Mixed’ rating. Now, I wonder what makes it so popular!
At the moment, Monster Hunter Wilds stands at number seven in terms of simultaneous players, with Dota 2 and Lost Ark just ahead by approximately 30,000 players each.
Typically, games released on Fridays tend to attract more simultaneous players over the weekend, making it uncertain as to how many players the game will ultimately have at its conclusion.
It’s worth noting that the game’s launch has encountered several challenges, as numerous players have reported suboptimal performance and a need for improved optimization.
One Steam user expressed, “This game is incredibly fantastic, yet it’s got the poorest optimization I’ve encountered.
I get it, they’re pushing out more demanding games and suggesting upgrades, but this is just too much. It’s not the first time a newly released game has struggled with performance, even World faced similar issues. However, it’s hard to find an excuse for this now.
