The action RPG, Monster Hunter Worlds, is getting a fresh update to address some lingering bugs and problems, which might prove beneficial for players who happen to have bald or eyebrowless characters.
Capcom has announced via Twitter that their upcoming patch, Version 1.010.01.00, will soon be deployed across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This deployment is scheduled for later today, at 7pm Pacific Time or 10pm Eastern Time (April 15 in the United States), which translates to 3am British Summer Time on April 16 for those residing in the UK.
Regarding the upcoming fixes, Capcom has shared some details about the issues they plan to resolve. For instance, you might run into trouble when trying to resubmit an assignment for Mizutsune, but that problem is expected to be resolved soon. Another issue concerns the Palico not joining the Seikret in certain scenes during the storyline progression, which should be addressed shortly. Lastly, a crash occurring while trading items with Sekka via the Village Intermediary menu is also set to be eliminated.
In addition to addressing the ongoing issues in the upcoming update, Capcom also aims to eliminate another type of crash. Specifically, they warn that if a player equips certain gear items, the game might shut down during startup, for instance, during network initialization.
It seems the developer hasn’t clarified what these mysterious “parts” refer to, but it strongly resembles a problem that Automaton recently reported, following player reports of a peculiar glitch. This bug causes the action RPG to fail at startup (particularly on the “initializing network” screen) when players attempt to launch the game after saving with a character who is bald and has no eyebrows, while also wearing the pre-order bonus Guild Knight Set.
This is quite an unusual predicament, albeit one that may not affect many people. However, it’s a real inconvenience for those who enjoy a particular style. Here’s to the day when bald and eyebrowless individuals can express themselves freely in their clothing choices once the update is released.
