Monster Hunter Wilds Final Fantasy XIV Collaboration Title Update Trailer Released

Capcom just released the first look at gameplay for the upcoming collaboration between *Monster Hunter Wilds* and *Final Fantasy XIV*. The update is scheduled to launch on September 29th.

I’m so hyped for the next update! It looks like we’re getting a really tough new challenge called Omega Planetes. And get this – they’re adding Dark Knight and Pictomancer jobs from *Final Fantasy XIV*! It’s all part of a free update that also includes a super-powerful monster, Arch-Tempered Nu Udra, plus some cool new outfits and ways to customize how we celebrate finishing quests. The trailer also gave us a sneak peek at the Elder Dragon Gogmazios, which will be coming in title update 4 next December. Seriously, I can’t wait!

The upcoming Title Update 4 for *Monster Hunter Wilds* will include improvements to the game’s performance on PC as part of a larger effort. While currently scheduled for winter 2025, the release date is subject to change. Capcom also plans to release smaller updates in the coming weeks to gradually improve the PC version, with more performance enhancements coming after Title Update 4.

The latest update for *Monster Hunter Wilds*, Title Update 2, released on June 30th, bringing new content like the Lagiacrus and Seregios monsters, a more challenging version of Uth Duna (Arch-Tempered), and customizable Layered Weapons. To celebrate, a special in-game event called the Festival of Accord: Flamefete Season was also launched, featuring quests centered around the Arch-Tempered Uth Duna.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. Before its release, Final Weapon reviewed the game and gave it a 4 out of 5 rating, stating it’s a great continuation of Capcom’s biggest hit.
