Monster Hunter Wilds Elemental Sac Guide – Where to find Flame Sac, Frost Sac and more
In the game Monster Hunter Wilds, players often need monster-specific materials to create equipment. However, seasoned series enthusiasts will recognize some materials that aren’t exclusive to specific monsters. For instance, elemental sacs are a type of material found on various monsters. Monsters that specialize in an element might share this drop with other monsters skilled in the same element. To illustrate, a Yian Kut-Ku could drop a flame-related sac, which a Rathalos may also provide. In Monster Hunter Wilds, you’ll encounter a variety of elemental sacs and monsters that supply them. However, it’s worth noting that at launch, Monster Hunter Wilds has fewer monsters providing elemental sacs compared to the initial lineup of Monster Hunter World or Monster Hunter Rise.
Monster Hunter Wilds Elemental Sacs
Poison Sac Monsters
In contrast to earlier installments in the series, only one creature – the Rompopolo – will yield a Low Rank Poison Sac. Interestingly, both the Rompololo and Gypceros can obtain the High Rank Toxin Sac.
Sleep Sac Monsters
Just like how Monsters carry Poison Sacks, the Nerscylla specifically carries Low Rank Sleep Sacks. If you’re after a High Rank Coma Sac, you can obtain it by hunting a High Rank Nerscylla or a Gravios.
Paralysis Sac Monsters
In Monster Hunter Wilds at its launch, there aren’t any Paralysis Sacs available for players to use. Although players can create Paralysis gear and encounter the Lala Barina monster that can cause paralysis, obtaining Paralysis Sacs is currently not an option within the game.
Flame Sac Monsters
As I delve deeper into this gaming world, it’s only the Guardian Rathalos that hands over a Low Rank Flame Sac to me. On the other hand, a variety of High Rank monsters, such as the Yian Kut-Ku, Rathian, regular Rathalos, Gravios, and even the High Rank version of the Guardian Rathalos, will reward me with a High Rank Inferno Sac upon defeat.
Thunder Sac Monsters
At present, upon game launch, no Low Rank monsters will yield an item formerly known as an Electro Sac. Conversely, only one monster, the lengthy named Guardian Fulgur Anjanath, will drop a High Rank Thunder Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Aqua Sac Monsters
Just like several other Elemental Pouches on this list, you have a restricted set of creatures that can potentially yield the Low Rank Aqua Pouch. To be precise, it’s the Low Rank Balahara and Uth Duna that can drop these pouches. Similarly, their High Rank counterparts will drop the High Rank Torrent Pouches.
Frost Sac Monsters
At long last, we’ve reached the final Elemental Pouch in Monster Hunter Wilds. Players can discover the Low Rank ‘Frost Pouch’ by hunting a Low Rank Hirabami, and there are no alternative sources for it. For the High Rank ‘Ice Pouch’, you can hunt either a High Rank Hirabami or a High Rank Jin ‘Dahaad’.
Monster Hunter Wilds distinguishes itself by offering fewer monsters with Elemental Sac drops initially. However, this doesn’t make them any less crucial for hunters aiming to craft unique equipment that still necessitates these materials. Now that you’re aware of their location, good luck on your quest for the next piece of gear!
