Monster Hunter Now breaks down the walls of reality with season eight Interdimensional Defenders

  • Monster Hunter Now is set to see season eight arrive with Interdimensional Defenders
  • Take on new monsters, and the Riftborne Khezu
  • Meanwhile, base defence and six new skills offer plenty to dig into

Pokémon Go is probably Niantic’s most famous game, but their mobile version of Monster Hunter has also become incredibly popular. Now, Niantic is taking Monster Hunter Now to the next level with season eight, called Interdimensional Defenders, which promises a truly immersive experience.

The biggest new feature coming on December 11th is the addition of new monsters to hunt! Season eight of Monster Hunter Now introduces Astalos, Quematrice, and Goss Harag. Alongside these, players will also encounter Riftborne Khezu, a stronger, reimagined version of a classic monster.

This update includes six new skills to learn: Perfectionist, Spare Shot, Normal/Element Ammo Boost, Morph Attack Boost, Advanced Ice Attack, and Advanced Thunder Attack. These skills offer various advantages, like automatically performing perfect dodges and boosting the power of certain thunder-based attacks.

To the fourth dimension

Not only that, but this season introduces new features for the recently introduced Exploration Bases. Base Defence sees you and other hunters team up to defend your base against riftcharged monsters. This takes place at the end of each Wave, and you’ll need to take these monsters on in multiple hunts to finally bring them down.

Things are incredibly busy right now, and there’s even more on the way! While you wait, why not check out Niantic’s other game, Pokémon Go, and use our list of promo codes?
