Monkey D. Luffy Officially Returns to the Los Angeles Dodgers in New One Piece x MLB Crossover

Monkey D. Luffy, the future Pirate King, is teaming up with Major League Baseball for another exciting event this summer.

One Piece is teaming up with the Los Angeles Dodgers again for a unique event! On Thursday, July 2nd, during the 7:10 p.m. game against the San Diego Padres, fans can expect a special One Piece experience.

The event will be held for one day at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. It will include exciting shows based on One Piece and exclusive anime merchandise, available while supplies last.

The Dodgers and the popular manga series One Piece have teamed up in a fantastic collaboration that’s become a must-see event.

Toei Animation is excited to continue its collaboration with the Los Angeles Dodgers, bringing the popular series One Piece back to UNIQLO Stadium on July 2nd. “We’re thrilled to be able to celebrate this beloved series with fans again,” said Lisa Yamatoya, Head of Marketing at Toei Animation.

Last year’s event was a massive hit, and one of our largest One Piece promotions ever. We’re excited to welcome an even bigger crowd this year for another incredible night, delivering the unique and unforgettable entertainment that fans expect from One Piece!

The new One Piece event in the U.S. is part of a growing effort to promote the popular Shonen Jump series by Eiichiro Oda. This push has been fueled by the success of the recent live-action Netflix adaptation and the anime, which is celebrating its 27th year in 2024.

Toei Animation is hosting a special two-day One Piece fan event this summer. From August 25th to 26th, 2026, they expect around 7,000 fans at the Cosm Los Angeles to celebrate the popular series.

Voice actors who work on the English dub of the One Piece anime are scheduled to appear at a summer event, and details will be revealed soon. Hiroshi Kitadani, the singer of the iconic One Piece opening theme, “We Are!,” will also be attending the event in the U.S.
