Let’s be clear: while gaining levels is important in MONGIL: STAR DIVE, it’s not the only thing that makes your characters strong. The equipment they wear is also crucial. Good equipment can make battles easy, while poor equipment will make them much harder. That’s why crafting is so important in this game.
Crafting might initially seem straightforward, but as you progress in the game, you’ll realize how essential it is. This guide, covering equipment crafting in MONGIL: STAR DIVE, will walk you through everything – from unlocking the crafting system and actually making items, to collecting the materials needed for strong, effective gear.
How to Unlock Crafting in MONGIL: STAR DIVE
In MONGIL: STAR DIVE, you won’t be able to start crafting right away. You’ll first need to unlock the crafting system, but it happens fairly quickly, letting you begin crafting early in the game.
You unlock crafting in Episode 1 by progressing through the main story and completing the quest involving The Mole. After that, you’ll get a side quest called “Do It Yourself!” which teaches you how to craft. Saiga, a character in the game, will guide you through the crafting system step-by-step.
How to Craft in MONGIL: STAR DIVE
Okay, so once you unlock crafting in MONGIL: STAR DIVE, it’s actually pretty easy to pick up – you don’t need to be a rocket scientist! But becoming really good at it? That takes a bit of learning about all the different crafting options and, honestly, a lot of practice. Let’s dive in and I’ll show you how to craft some awesome equipment!
To start crafting, go to the main menu and choose ‘Crafting’. You’ll then see four tabs: ‘Equipment’, ‘Sets’, ‘Combine’, and ‘Convert’. Each tab lets you craft different things, so understanding how they all work will help you become a better crafter. Let’s take a closer look.
You can create powerful gear using three different tabs. The Equipment tab is for crafting single items that directly improve your stats. The Sets tab lets you make complete outfits – equipping multiple pieces from the same set gives you even more bonuses. Finally, the Combine tab helps you turn basic materials into more advanced ones.
Crafting is straightforward. Simply select the item you want to make, collect the necessary materials, and then click the Craft button. That’s all there is to it!
How to Get Crafting Materials in MONGIL: STAR DIVE
To create strong gear, you’ll need a consistent source of materials, so learning how to collect them is key. Luckily, there are many ways to get the resources you need, and here are a few methods.
The Bag Menu
Okay, so one of the easiest things I do when I’m trying to get a specific item is check my Bag menu. If I already have the material, I can select it and the game actually tells me where it comes from! It’ll show if I can find it just by exploring, if I need to buy it from a shop, or if it’s only available in certain game modes. Seriously, checking this before I start grinding saves me a ton of time. I always look at the sources first now instead of just running around hoping to find stuff.
Exploration
You can also find resources by exploring the game world. They’re usually located along the main paths, so it pays to take your time and look around – you’ll be rewarded for it!
The Request Board
Taking on requests lets you focus on defeating monsters that drop the items you’re looking for. This is helpful because it eliminates the need to search for those monsters yourself, which can be time-consuming, especially for rare enemies.
Conquest Mode
You can also get valuable materials by playing Conquest mode. In this mode, you refight bosses you’ve already beaten, and you’ll earn powerful materials needed to craft the best equipment. As you advance through Conquest, you’ll face tougher bosses and receive even better rewards, which is essential for continuing to improve your gear at the endgame.
Final Thoughts
In MONGIL: STAR DIVE, crafting is essential for creating powerful characters. Focusing on it early in the game will give you a solid base to build from, and players who become skilled at crafting will ultimately be more successful.
