Story Highlights

  • Lane Matchmaking is live on the Ranked games in the Advanced Server!
  • New balance changes, battlefield tweaks are made in the Adv Server!

As a seasoned Mobile Legends player with over a thousand victories under my belt, I must say that the Patch 1.9.40 Update is a game-changer! The introduction of lane selection and the tweaks to various heroes have definitely shaken up the battlefield.

In the ongoing testing phase of the Mobile Legnels (Mobile Legends) Advanced Server, several heroes are receiving both strength reductions and enhancements. Simultaneously, Hanzo’s redesigned model is being rolled out gradually. Some heroes, such as Selena, are receiving boosts, while others like Yi Sun-shin are seeing a decrease in power. There are also changes to the Lane Matchmaking system, along with other modifications to the battlefield environment. We will delve deeper into these adjustments when we cover the Mobile Legends Patch 1.9.40 Update in greater detail.

Mobile Legends Patch 1.9.40 Update: Lane Matchmaking Changes

Lane Matchmaking is now available for Ranked games in MLBB.

In Ranked play mode, this feature becomes accessible for players who have attained Grandmaster level or higher. Prior to being paired with other players, you can choose 1 to 5 lanes in the Lobby. In multiplayer settings, the matchmaking process won’t start until there are no conflicting lane selections among the chosen ones.

When playing Pick and Ban, you have the option to ask your fellow players to exchange lanes with you if mutually agreed upon. It’s essential to stick to your designated lane during the game; otherwise, consequences such as penalties might be imposed.

Mobile Legends Patch 1.9.40 Update: Battlefield Changes

Bush

We’ve gathered enough information and responses regarding the Bush adjustments. For now, let’s roll back these modifications to match up with the standard server settings.

Battlefield Effect Test

This week, developers are going to carry on with assessing certain battlefield impacts on the Progressive Server to gather equilibrium information and player insights.

In ranked matches of Epic level or higher, this Battlefield Effect Test is applicable. Before joining a game, the system will notify you about the active battlefield effect for that specific match.

The changes will be made to:

  • Battlefield Effect – Element Eye
  • Battlefield Effect – Everlasting Turtle

Rose Gold Meteor (Buffed)

After considering different opinions, we’ve chosen to lower the Physical Attack of this gear and bring back the Attack Speed, which will make it more suitable for Fighter characters that primarily use Basic Attacks.

Attributes (Buffed)

  • Physical Attack: 50 >> 40
  • Attack Speed: 0 >> 20%

That’s it for the Patch 1.9.40 Update in Mobile Legends (MLBB)!
