Mike Colter Confirms MCU Return in BTS Photo from Daredevil: Born Again Season 3

Disney+ has greenlit a third season of Daredevil: Born Again, making it the first live-action Marvel series to get that renewal. The show will continue the intense rivalry between Matt Murdock (Daredevil) and Wilson Fisk (Kingpin), who previously served as mayor of New York City. This marks a significant continuation of the story that began with the Defenders series on Netflix in 2015. As Daredevil and Kingpin integrate further into the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe, Born Again promises to explore the world of Hell’s Kitchen and New York City in even greater detail with each new episode.

The upcoming second season will see Krysten Ritter return as Jessica Jones, marking her first appearance in the role since the final season of the Netflix series in 2019. Following the cancellation of that show and the other ‘Defenders’ series, these heroes have been gradually reintroduced to the main Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, Jessica Jones and the rest of the team are finally set to reunite and join the wider Marvel story.

Mike Colter, known for playing Luke Cage, recently posted pictures on Instagram hinting at his comeback to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The photos show him in a van with his former Netflix co-stars, Finn Jones and Krysten Ritter. Colter is dressed in a sharp black suit and yellow tie, covered by a black cloak likely hiding his superhero costume. Jones is also wearing a cloak, while Ritter is sporting Jessica Jones’ signature black leather jacket and tee.
