The programme first hit screens back in 2017, with Richard, 55, at the helm since the beginning.

Last month, the author of The Thursday Murder Club announced their departure. Actor Michael, 57, has since been cast to take their place in the upcoming shows, which will begin airing in September.

Richard posted a photo on Instagram Tuesday night showing himself with another man in the House Of Games studio on the day contestants switch teams.

He announced that this week marks his last appearance on ‘House of Games,’ with Michael Sheen taking over next week. The episodes are expected to air in September, and he’s excited to tune in and watch Michael host. #MichaelSheensHouseOfGames
