Matt Zukowski tries to hide his Tammy Hembrow tattoo in a bizarre way – after the influencer brutally removed his name from her body

Matt Zukowski has shared that he still has a tattoo related to his difficult marriage with social media personality Tammy Hembrow.

The 31-year-old, who appeared on Love Island, has a tattoo of his ex-girlfriend’s name on his hip. This matches a tattoo Tammy, also 31, got of his name.

She quickly had the tattoo of her ex’s name removed, but he’s taken a strange approach – trying to cover his up instead.

Matt posted a photo on Instagram Tuesday showing off his fit physique. He posed suggestively as he emerged from a pool.

Matt tried to hide the tattoo of Tammy’s name on his hip, which was visible because his shorts were hanging low.

Instead of cutting it out or hiding it with clothes, he blacked out Tammy’s name in the photo.

Matt has gotten tattoos of past partners before, and even had to remove one after a previous breakup. This isn’t the first time he’s marked a relationship on his skin.

In 2022, a former reality TV personality got a small heart tattoo on his rear end with the name of his ex-girlfriend, Genevieve.

After their breakup in 2023, he had a tattoo related to his ex removed. He shared the process in a sponsored post shortly before marrying Tammy in 2024.

Matt edited a photo of his tattoo online shortly after Tammy had it removed from her body, symbolizing a fresh start to the new year.

The influencer posted about a sponsored product and mentioned that someone had stolen artwork from her home, including a piece featuring her husband Matt’s name and their wedding date.

She explained she was getting a tattoo removed, specifically one of her ex-boyfriend’s name on her hip, and was applying numbing cream to the area to ease the pain.

Tammy shared that she was finally getting a large tattoo of a flower removed from her back – something she’d been wanting to do for years.

She later shared a clip showing the offending tattoos being erased, captioning it: ‘Finally.’

The influencer also mentioned she was using Numit cream to reduce pain during her laser treatment, sharing this information in another post on her Stories.

In an ironic twist of fate, Numit also sponsored Matt when he had his tattoo of Genevieve removed. 

Matt and Tammy got engaged in December 2023 after just three months of dating.

They tied the knot in November 2024, and announced they were divorcing in June 2025.

Matt shared on the show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! that although he and Tammy were officially married for seven months, they had separated after just three.
