Players, as they battle through the dangers of Arad while assuming the role of a once-respected general, can enhance their abilities using a resource called Lacrima, which is acquired when foes are vanquished. However, players are encouraged to try out various weapons, which necessitates adjusting the stat distribution.

For the unfamiliar, “The First Berserker: Khazan” is a game resembling soulslike titles, such as “Dark Souls”. In this game, Lacrima functions similarly to the souls you collect in Dark Souls, serving to enhance Khazan’s abilities, making him stronger. Each time you use Lacrima to level up, the cost for further advancement increases. However, the game encourages players to try various weapons and armor sets. Weapons in this game have scaling akin to From Software games like “Elden Ring”. This means that certain stats make Khazan more skilled with specific weapons. Furthermore, Khazan earns skill points that can be utilized to unlock weapon-specific skills.

Throughout the game, there are more of these scattered, but they won’t be frequently encountered until later in the game when it becomes craftable. In my initial seven hours of play, I stumbled upon this item at least 3 times, two of which were purchased from a vendor for 10,000 gold.

In the early stages of the game, since the Primeval Regression Orb is a scarce resource, it’s advisable for novice players to try out different weapons (both dual wield and single-handed ones like the greatsword and staff). After discovering their preferred weapon, they should utilize the orb and adjust their stats accordingly to maximize the chosen weapon’s potential. The stat that influences the weapon’s growth can be found in the Equipment menu.

In The First Berserker: Khazan, resetting skills is a straightforward task. Players can begin by navigating to the Skill Tree menu. Here, they have two options: remove individual skills from specific nodes using the triangle/Y button or clear the entire tree instantly with the left joystick click. Once chosen, the skill points tied to the unwanted skill will be deducted and become available for reassignment to another choice.
