Massive Kingdom Come 2 Patch Out Now With 1,000+ Fixes And Improvements

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the arrival of Patch 1.2 – a massive overhaul that’s been five months in the making. This update boasts over a thousand tweaks and enhancements, promising a smoother gaming experience all around. Expect refinements to gameplay balance and equipment adjustments, coupled with numerous bug squashes.

On top of that, this patch brings more country-specific localization, such as traditional and simplified Chinese, and even a fresh French voiceover. So, grab your controllers and get ready for an immersive gaming journey!

Among the major improvements in this update, you’ll notice the introduction of a barbershop where gamers can alter Henry’s fur and hairstyle. By styling Henry differently, players will receive a reward in the form of an increase in Henry’s charm attribute.

Regarding official modding support, Kingdom Come 2 has linked up with Steam Workshop. This enables players to develop and incorporate mods into the game under an officially approved setup. Warhorse Studios mentioned that over 300 aspects of the game are customizable, ranging from user interface and combat mechanics to AI actions. Essentially, the only limitation for these mods is one’s creativity.

Besides providing free updates, Warhorse Studios plans to offer new storyline extensions for Kingdom Come 2 via its premium expansion pack. These narrative expansions are scheduled as follows: Brushes with Death (Summer 2025), Legacy of the Forge (Fall 2025), and Mysteria Ecclesia (Winter 2025).

Additionally, you’ll be happy to know that Kingdom Come 2 will debut without Digital Rights Management (DRM) on GOG on March 28th. At present, the game is accessible only through Steam and the Epic Games Store on PC. By opting for GOG, you won’t encounter any DRM-related requirements like activation or online verification.
